Life Lessons Learned From A Woman Who Has Been Misunderstood
By: Samaria M. Colbert
So last I wrote I was in the mist of the greatest trial of my life. Honestly I know I should say something deep or spiritual but at this point but I choose to be transparent. This year so far started with such hope and with great excitement with the anticipation of what was to come. Yeah I too shouted at the beginning of this year over another prophetic promise that yes sorry to say still has yet to come to pass. If I can be honest and say so far the year 2011 has been the worse year of my entire life. It seems as though when you think you’re going to experience God’s greatest you experience the worst. It is only the end of June. There are six more months left in this year. It sounds so sad to be at the end of June and to only be counting the months till this year is over. Sorry folks I choose to be real not super saved, not fake.
Anyway so life has been hard. As bad as it may seem things generally are looking up. Yes the declaration that the Lord brought to my spirit was that it is over. It was confirmed in church. I have gotten to the place where I simply don’t believe what someone tells me just because they tell it to me. I have to hear from God for myself. Trust me from someone who has gone down this road before. I been there, done that and got the t-shirt. I have no capacity for foolishness and I simply don’t believe what someone else tells me lest I hear from God myself men and women of God confirm. Unfortunately I think that in the body of Christ we have gotten so pimped by false prophets and propheliers that church has become nothing more than a cheer leading, motivational teaching, hold on till tomorrow entity. Just push on people’s emotions and feed them baby food, be more concerned about numbers than growth and maturity and you’ll be fine.
So yes God spoke to my spirit and declared to me that it is over. It was confirmed and a new opportunity opened for me. It is so funny at the beginning of this year I was at a church where the man of God declared, “God was going to make you 1000 times better”. Of course I sewn my seed for the 1000 times better anointing. Ha ha. Be careful what you ask God for, you will get it. I am 1000 times better alright but if I knew what I had to go through to get to the 1000 times better trust me I wouldn’t have raised by hands in agreement and I surely wouldn’t have sewn my seed. I am fresh out of a trial; I haven’t gotten to the super saint status yet where I declare that if I had to do it over again I would. Truth be told I am 1000 times better but the past pain is still so fresh and the residue still there I can’t honestly say that. But I do know I am 1000 times better.
As stated before trials comes to make us strong. Storms as my pastor says are meant to let what’s in you that not supposed to be there die, not you. So honestly one of the reasons I am 1000 times better is because there are some things that have died in me that didn’t need to be there in the first place. It is a hard thing to be broken by God Himself but very necessary if you’re going to walk into you kingdom assignment. The storm is all a part of the process. And as I say the theme of my life work is understanding the process. I said it like a broken record if you don’t endure the process your will NEVER manifest the promise. I keep thinking about situations and people around me. It is ironic to me how saints have selective hearing when it comes to God. We expect to walk into our wealthy place with God haven’t not been obedient. We are like some of my clients who have been diagnosed with delusional disorder. We see things that are not there, believe things that are not so because we refuse to believe the truth. There are requirements associated with the blessing. If you promptly and disrespectfully don’t heed to the Holy Spirit and His warning you don’t qualify to be used by God. And my heart’s desire His to be used by God. So with every trial, with every tear that no one will ever truly understand is the processing and preparation for the promise. I glad I am through but I learned a tremendous amount.
One lesson I have come to appreciation is honesty. Those words sounds simple but believe me they are profound. I come to know that many saints would rather believe a lie than the truth. It is easier to perceive God to be like our personal Santa Clause then who He is. It is hard to understand that the same God who loves on you, and washed you from your sins and died so that we may live. It is a hard thing to understand that the same God who loves you will allow you to be broken. He will allow you to cry yourself to sleep at night. He will sit back and let people who are close to you hurt you and scandalize your name. He’ll do all that and not say a mumbling word. You can probably tell by my tone in this article that I am being brutally honest. I have matured. Honestly I would rather someone tell me the truth than to have my heart set up for a lie. Scripture says, the hope deferred makes the heart sick.
Don’t tell me this or that to play with my emotions. Don’t have my heart set on something that is based upon a lie. Eventually you do wake up. Another thing I heard at church was how, “a lot of saints are at odds with God”. I believe one reason is because we have prostituted the prophetic to be something that it is not. Remember a half-truth still equals a whole lie. Tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Let me help everyone who will ever read this post. You can have six guardian angels come to your door, sit at year feet and show you in an open vision that you are anointed. Your ability to manifest that prophetic promise will always be a choice you make to endure the process. Furthermore in the mist of the process it will be the greatest triumph and test of your life but when He is finished processing you then you will reap the reward and only then. So no as I always say just because you have promise doesn’t mean you will get to it. There were more Israelites that died in the wildness then who actually made it to the promise. So I’d rather someone correct me in love then someone to prophesy me right out of my divine assignment. And yes you can have people who prophesy to you what you want to hear, never hold you accountable and have you believing a lie. I have seen it happen so many times. Deception is a very power tool that the enemy uses but self-deception is the worst kind of deception you will ever come across. Sometimes you just need people in your life who will tell you the whole truth because they love you. It is better to have one good real friend than two thousand Facebook friends in your ear telling you what you want to hear. One of the main strategies of the enemy is disconnecting. He will disconnect you from people who are God ordained, and have you connect to the demonic sons of satan. Who deduce individuals to believe half-truth (lies) and consequently you never walking into your prophetic destiny. Trust me I have seen it happen first hand and it continues to happen. This is why the body of Christ must grow up. Be mature. Endure your process. Be obedient. When you have real spiritual maturity you have real discernment and people can’t just sell you a bill of goods. So what I learned is that I need honesty. I graduated past the falsies and the fakes. I really crave substance. I am no longer impressed by a hoop and a holler. In fact if you don’t yell, scream or hoop but you know how to teach something from the word than you are alright with me. The body of Christ must understand that there is more than one message then the “God is getting ready” message. I see so many people that can preach most folks under the table and every message no matter the title all boils down to “God is getting ready and if you want it give XYZ”. Honestly if my miracle is or is not right around the corner I desire God Himself. Besides one thing God spoke to me the other day is that “it will happen when you least expect it”. I stopped looking for miracles and answers for life’s problems. Through my trials I learned to rest in God. Trust me it is a lesson learned because when you are driven and want more than you have it is hard to rest in God and know that He is in control. But I learned it the hard way. I don’t care about what God is getting ready to do. I just know He is going to do it. I just want to rest in Him. Spend time doing nothing with Him and love on Him without expectation of a return. So honesty is always the best policy. It is better in the long run to live your life in truth than to live it believing a lie. Eventually you do wake up but where you started and what you believed will dictate how you feel. If you lived your life believing a lie it won’t manifest anyway and you will be devastated at the state of affairs of your life. But if you started out believing the truth you put yourself in position for true manifestation. So yes folk no more behind the pulpit lies. TELLS THE TRUTH
I have become more of women of substance. Once you have experienced the real truth it is hard to go back to processed foods. It’s just hard to swallow.
Another thing I learned is that it is okay to be misunderstood. Yes that’s right it is okay to be misunderstood. You may say uhhh what does that mean? Something about trials makes you think back over your life. It makes you remember people, circumstances and things you have been through. So I started thinking about some of my past failures and my past victories. I keep thinking over what I have accomplished and what I plan on accomplishing. I realized that it is perfectly okay to be misunderstood. Let me explain. All my life I have been the different spiritual girl who didn’t seem to fit in. I was always the odd ball out. I hated being different. When I look back over my life it was me being different that led me to say in my heart, “I don’t know where I am going but I know one thing I can’t stay hear.” You see people who are the most popular, the head of the clichés and the clubs I have found are really at a disadvantage. If you are never in an uncomfortable place you will never pursue something different. You never come to fully understand who you truly are because you have people to define you. But I am like a diamond in the ruff I am not what you think. I am more than meets the eye. I know this about myself because I have been misunderstood. It is in being misunderstood that you draw closer to God and He begins to tell you who you are and who you are not. You don’t have to believe me but people will make assumptions about you based upon where they want you to go. People will try and define you. It is when people don’t get you that you become begotten by God. Unfortunately again in my process of life there were people that I thought would come along side me and we’d run the race together but the truth of the matter is that they are no longer there. We are not running the race together. Sounds harsh but it’s all a part of the process. You have to let go of something’s to gain something’s. Moses couldn’t take Aaron into the glory no matter how close they were. He did however take Joshua. Hence when God’s disconnects you from an Aaron in your life He has already provided a Joshua. So being misunderstood causes the disconnection which causes the reconnection to something 1000 times better. You get my drift. When I look back over my accomplishments and where I am going I realize that I couldn’t stay in a comfortable place, I had to learn to be fearless, I had to learn to pursue but I had to learn the pain of being misunderstand which resulted in a disconnection. I don’t get sad or offended over disconnections anymore I realize they were all a part of the process. It is what it is. The truthful brutally honest nature in me choices to see it as it is.
The truth is that everyone is not on your level most don’t know it. What will be will be. In process you have to let go to gain. When I look back over my life my disconnections have always been hard but for my good. No love lost, but truth be told.
Another thing I learned is spiritual warfare. I won’t go into detail about that. Read my previous post entitled Weapons of War. One area of spiritual warfare that I am again confronted with was the spirit of fear and intimidation. I won’t go into detail but I learned to confront this spirit head on. The lord spoke to me a while ago and said you can’t be driven by fear either. So I learned that I am not defined by what people think or say about me. The spirit of fear cannot drive me away from the place God has me to be. Fear will cause one to run away. The opposite of fear is faith. I learned to rule with faith and not fear. I learned to stand confidently in who I am and in what I know. I have been through worst in the past. So someone who does not know me, and tries to wrongly intimidate me cannot because I am a winner and I know who I am. One thing someone told me a couple of weeks ago is “people can call you an orange all day long but when you know you’re an apple you don’t have to answer to it”. Through my trial I have been called things I am not, been told what I could and couldn’t do and I been mistreated. But one thing I know is that I am a child of God. I have great skills and I know who I am. Spiritual warfare causes one to stand firmly and aggressively declare who you are and what you will accept. I am the head and not the tail. I am above and not beneath. I excel in everything I put my mind to do. You say it to yourself, don’t let people try to define you or intimidate you. Don’t give your power to someone else. Remember the main strategy of the devil is fear. Don’t give your power over to the devil he is already defeated. The battlefield is always waged in your mind. So we must take control over every thought and bring it captive to God almighty. I could go on but I learned about the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Above all else I learned to swim in the presence of God. For Him to surround me by His glory. To finally just know that He is here and that everything is okay. I learned to be content and to just be still surrounded by His love. The main lesson learned is to just be still and know.
Everything is okay when know that we are safe in His arms.
While at church the man of God prophesied that July 3, 2011 will be the half-way point. On July 3, 2011 we will be at the half way point of this year. I am believing that the second half of the year will be much better than the first. I won’t be naive as to think I know all of what God is going to do. The truth is I have not a clue. I do know that the second half will be much better than the first. It has been hard but the lesson learned has been invaluable.
There are so many life lessons I wouldn’t be able to finish but I will say I have gain so much more than I have lost. I realized having come through the trial that I am much further along than were I thought I was. The storm was for my perfecting. I believe God who brought me to it, brought me through it. He is still in control.
Know that whatever you go through it is for your good.
Isaiah 55: 8-11 (NKJV)
8. For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
9 “ For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 “ For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Remember regardless of the pain you feel don’t give up. The truth of the matter is where you settle is where you’ll stay. Remember Abraham’s father Terah was on his way to Canaan but he settled in Haran and that’s where he died. Where you settle is where you’ll stay and that’s where you die. You can’t die here. You CAN’T! Others have but you won’t die in your wilderness. Other people have settled for the wildness mentality. Their content with the wilderness. They have settled for mediocre but greatness is what He is after. He is calling you to greatness. Greatness does not happen absent from the breaking, the crushing of the potter’s wheel. We are a great people! We serve a great God! We are more than conquers and we will walk into His promise. We will be carriers of His glory. WE WILL!
Don’t give up you are meant to be misunderstood!

We are always hearing about the kingdom of God and how God is manifesting the kingdom. We are always hearing about this prosperity gospel and how we as saints are all a part of the kingdom. A few weeks ago God gave me a revelation about what the kingdom truly is and how it is manifested. He also showed me how the kingdom of God can be prevented from manifesting. I thought I’d share. I don’t know about you but I want to be in position for the kingdom of God to manifest in my life.
It is true just because you are a Christian doesn’t mean you have been given access. You can have a key and not use it. You can have a key and not know how to use it. You can have a valuable treasure and not even know it’s there. The kingdom of God is like the Indiana Jones movies. It is there, we know it for a fact. But this kingdom does not come easily. We generally have to seek to understand it, to know who we are, and the power we possess. Most importantly we must know how it operates so that a spiritual abortion does not take place.
Remember you can be a citizen within a kingdom but still not have authority. What does that mean? Well it’s simple. Just because you are a citizen of the United States and are governed by the laws, statues and privileges of being a citizen does not mean you are a government official who has power or authority to enforce, change or implement laws. How many of us are United States citizens yet we feel powerless? It was once thought that the United States was infallible and that it was the greatest nation when it comes to power and rank. Of course we know that because of everything that is going on in America many are questioning that belief. Never the less even in the United States of America with all its citizens again there is still poverty, deficits in our economy, lack of efficient health care, significant problems in our educational system and so on. In what some consider to be the most powerful nation in the world poverty continues to run rapid. So if it is like that within the United States of America I propose to you that although you are a kingdom citizen, if you don’t know the power, authority, laws and precepts that govern this kingdom you will still be subject to the kingdom of a lessor order. You will still be subject to sickness, poverty, depression, barrenness, and the curse if you don’t understand the kingdom , understand how it works and how it is manifested.
Let us journey together.
First things first let us define what the kingdom is. Many people in the body of Christ have been hearing about the kingdom. We have been hearing teaching about the kingdom but many people simply don’t have a real clue about the kingdom and what it really is. Let us first define what the kingdom of God is and is not.
The kingdom of God is an entity by which God readily uses His people to begin to manifest and execute His will, dominion, power, judgment and authority to be released on earth.
The kingdom of God is a community of Christ citizens chosen by God to execute His divine purpose and order on earth.
There is a purpose plan and will for heaven but God will only use His people to execute the pattern of heaven to earth.
When Jesus came to earth He didn’t spend a lot of time dealing with your emotions. He didn’t spend a whole lot of time even dealing with sin. Even though He did deal with sin that was not His main objective. Jesus main objective while here on earth was to teach about the kingdom. Most of the words he spoke about were either teaching on the kingdom or using His authority from the kingdom to heal, set free and deliver. He realized that because His kingdom was greater than the earth He lived in His kingdom took precedent over the earth and it’s limitations. So when He came He set the foundation and began teaching us what the kingdom is and how it operates. He lets us know that the limitations of this earth are not the same limitations of the kingdom. As Jesus left this earth He declared, “greater works shall you do”. You see our great teacher set the foundation. Foundation is always the beginning or the order. After the foundation is set then you can begin to build the structure. If there is no foundation there is no structure. So Jesus said I set the foundation now build. It’s like in college you can’t take an advance course in any given subject if you have not learned the basic 101’s of any subject you are trying to learn. You know when you’re trying to register in a class most of the advance courses they won’t even let you sign up for until it is documented that you took the prerequisites.
So it is with Jesus He set the foundation by teaching us the course entitled Introduction to The Kingdom 101. The apostle Paul and others came along and taught the next course entitled Kingdom 102 and countless others have come along to teach us other courses such as Kingdom Business, Kingdom Prosperity, Kingdom Finances the Principles of Sewing and Reaping and so on. Sadly many Christians have never matriculated past the Intro to the Kingdom course. They had been sitting in the same classroom for twenty years. I am declaring this is the year 2011 and it is time to move forward.
So again Jesus main objective was to teach us the basics of the kingdom.
We know this because when Jesus came He spoke to the people in parables.
10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
So Jesus started explaining the kingdom in a way they could understand. He told them parables or stories that illustrated the kingdom. Think about when you were a child and you first started learning to read. You looked at color pictures and books with childlike figures so that you could understand the words and then form sentences. No child who begins to learn to read starts reading novels no matter how much of a quick learner they were. You took baby steps then you moved forward. Jesus was saying I illustrate to them stories and mental pictures because they can’t understand the mysteries yet. Again He was the great professor. They were learning the concepts. They did not execute what they learned yet He was simply in a teach mode, they were the students. Like in any college or university today. You sit listen to lectures but most people don’t begin to execute what they learned until they are close to graduation or have graduated. That is when you implement what you have learned. Jesus went further to say, “But you have been chosen to understand the mysteries.” Children can’t understand mysteries.
A baby can’t eat meat and potatoes whole. They are babies, they can’t swallow it. So they have to eat baby food that has been mashed and processed down. So it is with baby Christians they can’t really understand the meat of the word. So it has to be mashed down and processed so they can swallow it. However it is a sad thing to be a full grown individual still eating mashed down and processed foods. I don’t know about you but baby food doesn’t appeal to me as an adult. So why should spiritual baby food appeal to me? It is growing up time.
We are putting the children to bed. Its grown folks turn now. You know when you were a kid and your parents friends came over. There were some things that grown folks could only talk about amongst themselves and not in the presence of children. Children can’t keep still, they need some color, some form of stimulation. That’s why a graduate school classroom looks very different that a kindergarten classroom. I believe that spiritually speaking it is time to put the children to bed. It is now time for the kingdom of God to manifest. God is now getting ready to reveal His sons. Sons is not gender specific it simply means kingdom citizens who are in position to begin to execute His will, ways, judgment and power in this earth.
God can’t release His kingdom to children.
Galatians 4:1-3 (NKJV)
1 Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all,
2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world.
No matter what kind of promise you have. No matter who prophesies over you if you don’t grow up and mature you WILL NOT manifest the kingdom.
Everything that God will ever do He will do through His mature sons (adults not gender specific) and through His kingdom. God will not execute His kingdom absent from His people.
Remember the kingdom of God is not God Himself, it is where He dwells. If my home address is 123 somewhere street, that is where I live not who I am. The kingdom of Heaven is where He lives it is not Him. His kingdom must manifest on earth and there He will be in the mist.
It is very important to understand that there is the kingdom and there are the characteristics or the blessing related to being a kingdom citizen. Prosperity, houses, cars, money are not the kingdom. Once you are a successful kingdom citizen God will release these things to you but they are not in and of themselves the kingdom. The kingdom is not your ability to receive the blessing but to be a blessing, to change nations and generations for His kingdom. God does not wish to release the blessing to you He wants to release you to be a blessing. Read Deuteronomy 28, the whole thing.
So the first and most profound question is: How is the kingdom of God manifested?
Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
The kingdom of God must be sought. The first thing to understand is you can’t truly seek the kingdom of God without seeking the king. You can’t seek the king without having a heart for the king. You can’t have a heart for the king if you are living in sin and disobedience. So we must seek the king with a pure heart. This is why God sends the test to purify our motives. We must seek to touch His heart, to feel what He feels, to love what He loves. If you have His hand you can have what’s in His heart. We have become a people who shout more over what God is getting ready to give to us more so than what we give up for Him.
It is not until God can trust you will He release His kingdom to you. I have said it before that you can be a kingdom citizen and not have authority, dominion and power within that kingdom. The blessing associated with being a part of the kingdom will only manifest when you are obedient. I hate to say it but blessing and cursing are a part of the kingdom. Most people want the blessing no one wants the curse. If you are a citizen of the kingdom and you break kingdom protocol, laws and rebel against this kingdom. The king then releases you to the curse. Just like in the United States when you disobey the law you suffer the consequence so it is with the kingdom. You don’t stop being a kingdom citizen but you do suffer the consequence of disobedience. That’s why I said read the whole chapter of Deuteronomy 28. Saints have selective hearing now a days we like to selectively pick and choose what we want to receive in the bible but the truth of the matter is you are what you do.
I could talk on and on about the principles of the kingdom but that would talk that would take forever. I simply wish set the foundation on how the kingdom is manifested and prevented from manifesting. Briefly some attributes of the kingdom is authority to disallow, disarm, and annihilate the principles and plans of the enemy. It is the ability to execute and release the judgment of God on the earth. It is the ability to use your mouth to speak healing, wholeness and prosperity to a dyeing world.
Principles or attributes of the kingdom again these are not in itself the kingdom but characteristics of the kingdom:
The headship anointing. Simply means you are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. This is where God sets you high and above the nations of the earth. (Deuteronomy 28:1) It simply means you are in a place of authority.
You don’t run after the blessing the blessing runs after you. (Deuteronomy 28:2)
Your ability to prosper. (Deuteronomy 28:3,4)
Your ability execute spiritual authority over the enemy.
Your ability to create and have wealth.
The most important principle to be a part of the kingdom is your ability to execute God’s judgment on the earth. I am not referring to condemnation or to put someone in hell. Most people think of judgment as a bad thing. It simply means to know and understand the mind of God and to execute His dominion, power and authority on the earth that He has given us. If you don’t like what’s going on in your world, in your city or in your neighborhood don’t allow it. When you have God’s authority, you don’t allow what He allows and you release His authority. Again I am not talking about Fox news, picketing and arguing over Christian values to a sin filled world. I am talking about spiritual authority.
Matthew 16:19 (NKJV)
19. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed[a] in heaven.”
Ten Ways That The Kingdom Is Manifested:
1. By the Holy Spirit. The kingdom of God will not manifest absent of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:7,)
2. By seeking the kingdom. (Matthew 6:33)
3. By obedience. You will never manifest the kingdom of God in disobedience. Be obedient to the process. There are no short cuts to the kingdom. (Deuteronomy 28)
4. Perseverance- The spirit of a finisher says I will not give up. (Matthew 5:3,4 Romans 8:18-30, 11 Corinthians 12:10)
5. The appointed time. God has a set time or appointed time for when He will release the mantle. You can’t make it happen or force it. You can miss it if you’re not ready when He shows up. (Acts 1:8, Matthew 25:1-13)
6. Spiritual maturity-Galatians 4:1-3
7. Having a right relationship with God. Can God trust you?
8. Spending time in preparation. Studying His word, reading, praying and fasting. (Mark 9:29)
10. Order, structure and unity within the body of Christ. The Apostle Paul set order and structure which is how the kingdom church began to really manifest and grow. (I Corinthians 12:12-31, I Corinthians 14, I Corinthians 11, I Corinthians 7, Ephesians 4:11-16) A important point to make is that the kingdom will not manifest without apostolic alignment. (which has nothing to do with the apostolic church which is more like a domination) You cannot grow or mature into the things of God absent from an apostolic father.
Fourteen Things That Prevent The Kingdom From Manifesting:
4. Moving ahead of God’s Timing (the same as disobedience)
5. Moving out of His will
6. Impure Motives
7. Spiritual Immaturity
8. Not praying, fasting or reading the word.
9. Not having a consecrated life.
10. Not enduring the process.
11. Soul Ties
12. Emotional Instability (mental illness, jealousy, envy, double mindedness)
14. Pride, lack of humility (Proverbs 16:5)
The kingdom of God will also begin to manifest again by way of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will hover over you and begin to release to you kingdom ideas, creativity and by divine connections.
There is so much more to say about this topic but I will end it here. The rest will be for another day. Remember most of all the kingdom of God dwells on the inside. It is invisible, but it is only the hand of God that will make the invisible visible and the unseen seen.
Let us pursue above all righteousness.
Oh Lord let your will be done!

Not speaking out does not make you innocent it makes you guilty.
The question still remains do you want blood on your hands?
Sitting here talking to my sister about how people take the scripture do not judge out of content. First off Tupac said, “only God can judge me” not the bible. When the bible says judge not it means don’t condemn. Matthew 7:25. Don’t speak out against what you are in yourself. No one can send you to hell only you can do that. Anyway the bible does not justify Christians not speaking out against sin. John 7:24 says judge with righteous judgment. Funny how we can pick and choose what scriptures to quote when they seem convenient to our situation but when you really love God you love His word.
Don’t use the word of God to justify mess. Don't use God's righteousness to excuse your foolishness.
Read: Ezekiel 2, 3
The Message (MSG)
17-19 "Son of man, I've made you a watchman for the family of Israel. Whenever you hear me say something, warn them for me. If I say to the wicked, 'You are going to die,' and you don't sound the alarm warning them that it's a matter of life or death, they will die and it will be your fault. I'll hold you responsible. But if you warn the wicked and they keep right on sinning anyway, they'll most certainly die for their sin, but you won't die. You'll have saved your life.
20-21 "And if the righteous turn back from living righteously and take up with evil when I step in and put them in a hard place, they'll die. If you haven't warned them, they'll die because of their sins, and none of the right things they've done will count for anything—and I'll hold you responsible. But if you warn these righteous people not to sin and they listen to you, they'll live because they took the warning—and again, you'll have saved your life."
God loves us and He wants us to show EVERYONE His love. When you really love someone you tell them the truth. Love doesn’t let someone die and go to hell. Love saves you from yourself. It was love that hurt me but helped. Love yourself and love your neighbor. However scripture clearly says when you don't speak out God will require you to suffer the penalty of others sin. Your personal righteousness means nothing. God will require your blood for theirs.
Yes God can and will judge you so will other people whether you like it or not. God holds Christians to set a standard. We are ambassadors to His kingdom. We allow or disallow His kingdom to manifest on earth. Could it be a lot of the foolishness going on in our world have something to do with His children not taking their rightful place as kingdom citizens God sends to govern His earth which He gave us.
Matthew 16:19 (NKJV)
19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed[a] in heaven.”
Things are about to get real thick. Choose ye this day who you will serve God or man. Christians are going to have to make a decision. Staying silent does not mean you don’t have a stance it means that your stance against Christ has already been made.
Joshua 24:15 (KJV)
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Could it be that the reason we are not seeing great manifestations in the church are because we are not taking our rightful place? When was the last time you saw miracles, signs and wonders in church?
In fact when was the last time you received any ministry training? I am not talking about how to preach. What about basic 101 stuff i.e. operating in the supernatural, teaching on the prophetic, how to hear the voice of God. The churches main agenda is to take the city. If I may ask a stupid question, how are you going to take a city not operating in your rightful place? We want bigger churches but we haven’t walked into a greater anointing.
You don't use people to build ministries. You use ministries to build nations.
God is coming back to the church.
The only way we are going to see our nations healed.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Notice the scriptures says if My people. My people means people who belong to Him meaning us. We need the body of Christ to take their rightful place in the kingdom so God can heal our land.
When Christians silence their voices it means a closed heaven and chaos on earth.
I leave with a prophetic word by my a great apostle. Bishop Don Meares.
July 29, 2012
There is a move of God coming back to the church. Demons will flee. Healings are coming back to the church. Blessings are coming back to your house. We must tear down the idols.
Time out for lukewarm shady Christians. Time out for religious Christians who have no relationship with Christ. Time out for folks who are Christian by title only.

Proverbs 13:22 (KJV)
22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV)
22 The blessing of the LORD makes one rich,
We are hearing in Christendom that God wants to make His people rich. Long gone are the days when Christians are supposed to have the poppers mentality. It is God’s will that His people be prosperous and wealthy. I stated earlier in one of my blogs how the same Holy Spirit that lives on the inside of us is the same Holy Spirit that was there in the beginning. Holy Spirit is the divine creator with the ability to turn nothing into something. We have that same ability because Holy Spirit dwells on the inside of us.
Yet and still as Christians we are in the mist of struggle. Now the world is experiencing calamity at all time high. Contrary to what we have been told the economy is not getting better. In fact I believe it is only going to get worse. Everything that can be shaking is being shaking.
There are seven mountains of God; Arts and Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media and Religion. These are dominion, spheres of influence and aspects of the kingdom that govern the earth that God has given His people authority to execute and rule. These mountains have always belonged to God. However the church has retreated and relinquished control of what rightfully belonged to God over to the world.
The world has then taken what belonged to God and mishandled, mismanaged and perverted what rightfully belonged to Him. What do you expect when His people hand over His stuff to a corrupt world that is not interested in His kingdom or His will? It is no mistake that the arena in which the corruption is taking place and falling apart happens to be the same mountains that rightfully belong to our God.
So how does that relate to the great wealth transfer? Let us study on.
In short one of the reasons why the earth is experiencing such a shaking is because God is getting ready to transfer what is rightfully ours back into our hands. He is not giving us something new He is giving us what rightfully belongs to us. God wants the earth to be governed and controlled by His people. It is no mistake that there are mask calamities, hurricanes and other natural disasters that continue to happen. It is no mistake that the economy is crashing, the real estate market has crashed, the housing market has gone bust, and wall street market crashed. The arts and entertainment movement is going down hill believe it or not. People no longer want to see sexually explicit and high violent movies any more. There is too much of that in real life people are not willing to pay hard earned money for that anymore. There is a trend where people want to see more family oriented, morality driven movies. Every mountain that belongs to God, that was in the hands of sinners has either crashed and burned or is on it’s way. This is not by incident or happenstance.
I had a dream twice in a row years ago before the economy and the housing market was in trouble where I was sitting at my home church in Maryland. I see the Bishop get up and say, “the economy is going to crash”. Then I remember in my dream saying, “oh yeah pastor … said the same thing”.
I had dreams before the housing market crashed. I remember just being able to get a house for nothing because the housing market had went bust. The banks had gone bankrupt. I had dreams where I saw nothing but empty buildings because businesses had went bankrupt.
Now there is nothing to get worried or fearfully about. You must understand the pattern of God. God uses calamity to shake the earth. God always blessed His people in the time of famine. The shaking that is going on in the earth really is for your sake. If you are a Kingdom minded Christian whom God can trust. Just because you go to church and pay your tithes does not mean your Kingdom minded.
Hebrews 12:27 (KJV)
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
I believe our Father has had enough and He is getting ready to transfer the wealth because He wants His people to govern His earth that He gave us from the beginning of time. Again this is why the shaking has taken place. The question is not if it will happen rather the question remains will you be ready when it comes?
It may sound like a dream but there were six wealth transfers that happened in the bible. The next wealth transfer coming will be the seventh. It is no mistake that there are seven mountains of God and six wealth transfer have already occurred.
The first wealth transfer happened with Abraham. Genesis 12:10-20, Genesis 13:2, Isaac Genesis 26, 30. Jacob Genesis 31. Joseph Genesis 41. Israel Exodus 12 and the last one happened with Solomon 1 Kings 10:23.
If God did it before He can and will do it again. So how will the wealth transfer happen? It will happen through the seven mountains of God. The question that you must ask yourself is which mountain do you fall into?
I believe God is setting up His people to manifest His kingdom. The wealth transfer will not happen by happenstance. Money will not fall out of the sky. You must be prepared for when the door opens and God releases it. There now is a big push in the area of creativity, arts and entertainment. I believe there is also coming a significant shift into the hands of the believers in the area of real estate and land. You’re going to be able to obtain homes you didn’t build. I had a vision some years ago of empty buildings. I believe these buildings were empty for the sake of the Kingdom.
However God is not going to fill empty buildings with empty people who have empty mind sets. This is the time to begin to write your visions down begin to work on your gift. For example my gift in the area of creativity is writing. Writing is my passion it’s what I am good at. When God releases the wealth transfer He will do it for me in the area of the writing I have done.
My responsibility is to prepare and be ready. I have written seven books and am working on my eighth at the time this blog is being written. Now that is not set in stone for all believers. How God will transfer the wealth to one is not the same way He will transfer it to another. You may not be a writer maybe you’re a businessman or have always had an interest in the arts. Whatever your gifts are that is how the wealth will transfer to you. If you are not prepared when the door opens you won’t possess the land. Kingdom domination is not for those who have not been found faithful. The other thing to remember is if God cannot trust you He won’t release anything to you. If you are not sure in your relationship with God and not living a sanctified life before Him He will not release it to you.
Remember increase absent from character, integrity and truth is dangerous. If you live an unholy life in an apartment why in the world would God bless you with a house? What you have not conquered will only conquer you in the long run. So this is a season of preparation.
I encourage you to write down your visions and dreams from God. God will release Kingdom ideas and creativity in your spirit. Don’t try to make it happen it will manifest in due time but have a clear and precise plan for when God releases it. It will happen.
God will give divine strategies and instructions.
I speak now the creative nature of the Holy Spirit to begin to manifest and illuminate your very being now.
In Jesus name.

One of the areas that God has allowed me to walk in is the supernatural wisdom of God. I always talk about the wisdom of God and the ability to rightfully discern. One area that we tend to overlook a great deal is in the area of wisdom. We focus more on signs, wonders and miracles but not the wisdom of God. As I stated in the last blog the greatest enemy to the body of Christ is wisdom and discernment. The bible says that people perish for lack of knowledge not lack of a sign and a wonder. Not for lack of the prophetic or apostolic anointing for lack of knowledge. When the bible talks about knowledge it is not talking about book knowledge or mans knowledge. It is talking about the lack of the ability to know, hear and truly perceive who God is and how we are to walk truly in His kingdom. Therefore we can rightfully conclude that when the bible says people perish for lack of knowledge a great part of that perish would be due to the lack of the wisdom of God.
Hosea 4:6 (NKJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.
I read a series of books by Bill Hamon author of books about prophets and prophetic ministries. I highly recommend anyone called to the office of a prophet and/or prophetic ministry to pick up these books. In Dr. Hamons book: Prophets and Prophetic Movement he talks about how God had tried his faith. He had incidents where prophecies did not come to pass then he lost a property that he had been believing God for after he received a prophetic word that it would be paid for. After he sought God for what was going on God said to him He could have given him the land and the building overnight but God wanted him to gain maturity and wisdom. God specifically told Dr. Hamon He couldn’t grow wisdom and maturity in him without taking him through certain processes.
You see the gift of wisdom is just that a gift but the ability to operate and walk in that gift can only be developed overtime and in process. The greatest gift that God will ever bless His people with is wisdom and discernment.
So what does it mean to operate in the wisdom of God?
Proverbs 1:1-7 (NKJV) Read
To operate in the wisdom of God simply means to know God’s divine instructions for you and if you are called to prophetic ministry the body of Christ. To be able to receive instruction and correction. To know the knowledge of God. The ability to hear and increase in learning. Many people who walk in the wisdom of God are natural teachers but also have a hunger for learning. They are also very teachable and have the ability to seek wise counsel.
Proverbs 2:1-7 (NKJV)
The Value of Wisdom
1 My son, if you receive my words,
And treasure my commands within you,
2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom,
And apply your heart to understanding;
3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment,
And lift up your voice for understanding,
4 If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
5 Then you will understand the fear of the LORD,
And find the knowledge of God.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;
7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
Someone who walks in wisdom is also someone who walks in the maturity of God. Remember the gifts of God are without repentance. Romans 11:29 You can have someone who operates in sign and wonders. Can teach the bible like no other. The only indication of a mature saint is their ability to walk in wisdom and obedience.
I personally am not impressed by someone’s ability to preach and prophesy. Demons can preach and prophesy accurately by the way. The wisdom of God is what really matters. Remember gifts are in you from the wound. You don’t have to be processed into your gift, you do have to processed into wisdom and the anointing. When you operate in the wisdom of God you can rightfully discern the times, seasons and whether or not what you see is from the heart of God or man. Along with wisdom there is always discernment. These two are like kissing cousins they don’t ever separate from one another. With wisdom comes discernment, with discernment there is always wisdom. They are always inter changeable and again they are never separate. It’s like getting a two for one special both go hand and hand. When you walk in wisdom you don’t lean on your own understanding but your sole dependence is in the path that God has set before you. When you walk in wisdom you are not wise in your own eyes.
Characteristics of wisdom:
I personally have seen people who can articulate deep things in God, yet when you look at their every day life they make stupid decisions and don’t use wisdom. Regardless of how much someone talks about God the only indication of them using the wisdom of God is when they walk in it.
So the first indication that someone walks in the wisdom of God is their ability to make wise decisions. Wisdom is not something that you can display it must be walked out. You have to ask does this person represent mind of God in their everyday life.
A lot of times people who don’t use the wisdom of God attached faith to justify foolishness. They do things absent from wisdom and say they heard God say this or that. Remember the wisdom of God always prepares. God is not going to do anything in your life unless He prepares you for it first. So no God is not going to release you into ministry unless He first processes and then prepares you. God is not going to bless you with a husband or a wife unless He prepares you for it first.
Remember God is not a fool. Christians love to make Him look like He is. God is not going to have you in something that He has not first gave you provisions for.
A lot of times people end up having to back track and finish unfinished steps but had they used wisdom in the first place, God would have had them finish this up first then move forward.
Wisdom waits on God. People who don’t walk in the wisdom of God are always out of the will of God. They are always trying to step ahead of God. They are always moving forward without hearing from God first. People who don’t operate in wisdom are always trying to network and make things happen in their own strength. They don’t understand the simplicity or God. Someone who does not operate in the wisdom of God is really a immature Christian no matter how good they can preach and prophesy. They don’t know how to wait on God for further instructions. Remember scripture says the step of a righteous man are ordered by God.
People who don’t walk in wisdom receive revelation from God but are not content to wait on God for His next step so they start plotting and planning trying to manifest the vision God gave them. Remember God has a plan and knows how He will get us to manifest it. It is not up to us to figure it out it is up to God to bring us to it. People who don’t walk in wisdom are always busy trying to do the business of God or ministry. They don’t know how to rest in God. Often times these people are so busy in God they miss God Himself. Wisdom seeks God’s face not His hand.
People who don’t operate in the wisdom of God have a hard time receiving instruction. They have already perceived in their mind what they want irregardless of what God really has to say. They also don’t seek wise counsel if wise counsel is given they don’t receive it.
People who don’t walk in the wisdom of God don’t respect authority. When corrected they become easily offended. People who don’t walk in wisdom again show arrogance and pride. When you correct them in their wrong instead of receiving it they look at you as if something is wrong with you. I always find it odd when people say they heard from God yet they never receive a word of correction from Him. The truth of the matter is when God speaks it is not always a, “I am going to bless you word”. Often times it is God pointing out an area that He is going to refine in you. He will say, “no or this is not your time yet.” In God believe it or not you will receive closed doors before there is an open door. People who say in God there is always an open door before there are closed door are wrong and again haven’t been processed into wisdom. Before you ever get to an open door in God there will be closed doors first. When it is your time then God will open the door. People who don’t operate in wisdom are always trying to pry open doors that God has not opened for them yet. They are always trying to go places in the spirit that God has not released them to yet. Remember you should never go places in the spirit God has not released to you because that is when you tap into a familiar spirit. A familiar spirit is a spirit that looks like God and acts likes God, prophesies like God but is from the demonic world.
People who don’t walk in wisdom don’t know how to shut up. Yes that’s right I said it shut up. When you truly walk in wisdom there is a quietness in your spirit that represents the peace of God. People who don’t walk in wisdom have diarrhea of the mouth they simply don’t know how to stop talking. Remember the wisdom of God knows when and what to release to the people. You can’t release everything to everybody. You must only release or feed the people what they can handle. Would you put a plate full of steak, meat and potatoes in front of a one year old child and say, “okay now eat up”? Absolutely not. When you operate in the wisdom of God you know what to release and what not to release. You know the timing of God.
Remember just because you can say something doesn’t mean you should. Wisdom knows what to speak particularly in front of people who maybe different than you. Sometimes you have to know what to speak and what to keep to yourself. Sometimes you have to not let your right hand know what you left hand is doing. You have to approach things with God’s agenda without stating this is God’s agenda. If you walk in the wisdom of God you know when to shut up and know when to speak up there is a big difference. Joseph is a great example of this. Just because God gives you great visions and dreams doesn’t mean He wants you to tell other people particularly if they can’t perceive where God is taking you. Often times God is speaking to you for your own understanding it may not be meant for the people yet.
Psalm 103:7 (NKJV)
7 He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel
Remember the ability to see or operate in signs and wonders is not and indication of operating in the wisdom of God. The Lord told me a few years ago. “There are some I want to reveal My glory to and there are some whom I want to release My glory through.” In the scripture above God revealed His acts to the children of Israel it simple means He showed them great signs and wonders so that they would believe. The world and immature Christians needs signs and wonders to increase their faith and cause them to believe. However God reveals His ways to Moses. This means God trusted Moses to reveal Himself to not just His acts. God would talk to Moses as a friend. God trust Moses so much that He could release His words to Moses.
Isaiah 55:8 (NKJV)
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
The thoughts of God represents His mind or His will. The ways of God represent the path that He would take. God shows non believers and immature Christians His power through signs and wonders which then increases their faith and causes them to believe. However when you have reached a maturity in God then He trust you enough to allow you into His mind and why He does what He does. Knowing the ways of God means you know true intimacy of God. The people of Israel knew God’s power they didn’t know intimacy with God. God wanted them to believe in Him, God chose Moses to know God personally.
Moses represented a man of God who walked in the wisdom of God. The people of Israel represents immature Christians who needed sign and wonders to believe. So when God told me He wants to reveal His glory to people it means He wants people to see signs and wonders so that it caused them to believe that He is God. However when God changes your position you become a vessel. Then God uses you to reveal His glory through. You become the vessel by which the glory, signs and wonders are being shown through not just to. Glory to means God wants you to see signs and wonders. Glory through means you begin ministering powerfully, signs and wonders begin to manifest through you. Now you are not a spectator you are participator.
For example one of ministries that I absolutely respect is Benny Hinn’s. Most of you know he is a great man of God who has healing crusades all over the world. When I was young I would sit for hours and cry just watching those signs and wonders. I was so amazed I wanted to feel God like that. I also wanted God to use me like that. Now that I have grown up in God I still respect this man of God’s ministry however I am not so much fascinated with the signs and wonders but I love his teachings. To me the ability to really begin to teach the word with revelation and knowledge into the kingdom of God is what fascinates me I am so hungry for God’s word.
God told me one time, “I have chosen you to understand the secrets of the mysteries of the kingdom of God.” This is also the wisdom of God.
The disciples were with Jesus and they asked Him, “How come you speak to the people in parables”? Jesus said this:
11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
Parables are like illustrations or pictures. So imagine when you were a child in kindergarten you went to school where they taught you things in colors. You wrote in crayons and sang songs. When you got to college you don’t write things in crayons. Your professors don’t start out in singing to have you understand the concepts that they are trying to teach you. No way.
It is the same in the kingdom of God. God spoke to the people in parables or pictures so that they could comprehend His kingdom. However the disciples those who truly walked with God were chosen to understand the mysteries in God, He spoke to them plainly. Why? Because they had been chosen to operate on another dimension in God. They weren’t called to just see they were called to do.
It is the same when you walk in wisdom. It means you have been chosen to operate in another dimension in God. You don’t get so caught up in what you see but you are more aware of what you don’t see. When you walk in the wisdom of God then He begins to give you supernatural instructions, plans and mysteries begin to awaken unto you.
Again wisdom increases overtime and in process. It is your everyday ordinary operating that indicates whether or not you operate in wisdom or not. As the wisdom increases then you begin to transition into operating in the wisdom of God in ministry.
People who operate in the wisdom of God have God like perception. They can rightfully discern whether this thing they see is of God. They can also perceive areas that need to be dealt with in the spirit. People who walk in wisdom see what others around them don’t see.
When you walk in wisdom you have perception. Perception is how you view something not how you see things. Sounds crazy but seeing happens from your natural eye, perception happens from your mind. How you see with your natural mind impacts how you see things in the physical. When you walk in wisdom you are have view from God perspectives not man. Wisdom introduces you to the view from the kingdom perspective.
Wisdom must be sought. When you seek God’s opinion regarding any situation you are really seeking His wisdom. There is security in wisdom. There is a way in wisdom. There is a call to wisdom. There is a spirit of excellence in wisdom. Proverbs 2:4,5
Proverbs 2:4-5 (NKJV)
4 If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
5 Then you will understand the fear of the LORD,
And find the knowledge of God.
Remember it is the wisdom of God that releases the kingdom of God. To know how to appropriately operate and manifest the kingdom of God you must know and walk in the supernatural wisdom of God. Remember people who try to separate the kingdom of God from the church are out of order and not in the will of God.
Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Remember the church is a God idea. His kingdom is a God like idea. The church is the bride of Christ whom Jesus died for. The kingdom of God is the manifested Glory of God brought to earth. You access the kingdom by seeking the King. The body of Christ or the church is His heart and His bride.
The church is not a small piece of the kingdom. The church is the body of Christ. People who try to separate the church from the kingdom are trying to separate Christ from His own body. This simply cannot be done. The body of Christ is the church and the church is the body of Christ. The church is the only entity or group of people who God’s gives access to His kingdom. There is no one else who can have access to the kingdom other than His church (bride). Again when I talk about a church I am not talking about a building or denomination I am talking about the body of Christ.
People who try and separate the two are out of order and not of God. This is so pertinent and must be understood.
When we talk about warnings what we are seeing is an increase in signs and wonders but a decrease in the wisdom and discernment of God. People who are for the kingdom but not the church represent an anti Christ and the spirit of rebellion. Again because they subconsciously are trying to separate the body of Christ from His kingdom. It cannot be done!
When you try and do this a spirit of rebellion comes in. Watch people who have critical spirits. Watch people who always have something negative to say about other people particularly toward other Christians in leadership positions. This is a high ranking principality that exist in the heavenlies. When you begin to speak against a particular group of people, leadership or the kingdom of God, and it citizens you give this principality access. It begins to opens doors to the demonic world and begins to destroy lives.
A great example of this would be Mariam Moses sister. She began to speak against Moses and it angered God to the point that God struck her with leprosy. Moses had to cry out to God and intercede on her behave. Numbers 12. Watch what you put your mouth against. As my pastor would say don’t speak about what you don’t understand. Shut up, pray and ask God for understanding if need be but don’t speak against, make fun of or use any verbal assaults against. God will and still does release curses for this very reason. Jude 1:8-10, 19. Vein words causes division and come from people who are not led by the spirit. You walk in wisdom when you are being led by the spirit even in your conversation.
Even if you perceive things that need to be corrected in churches, the body of Christ and leadership. Again here is the wisdom of God. God is showing you these things so that you can begin to intercede. Often times those whom God has called to ministry God is using the example He shows you to teach you what not to do. God is not sending you to give correction often times He is calling you to intercede and stand in the gap until the correction is made.
I am a little leery of people who talk against leaders in the body of Christ yet they haven’t walked in their shoes. Interesting. I am not being judgmental but again use wisdom, sit back, shut up and observe. People who have critical spirits towards a particular group, people, leaders and pastors often carry an underlying spirit rejection themselves. They have a hard time submitting to any authority, they surround themselves with “Yes” people who also have no discernment, they cannot receive correction, they think everyone is wrong simply because they don’t agree. These are the same people who tend to birth themselves out into ministry prematurely before God has released them. They develop ministries not because God has called them to but out of a need to be accepted.
Remember to use wisdom. We are fighting a war that exist in the heavenlies.
Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Where do principalities and powers exist? Not in a low place or under your feet in high places. Where do rulers exist? In places of authority. Where are host of wickedness? According to this scripture they are in heavenly places.
We must put on the whole armor of God. Perceive what really is in front of us based upon our spiritual eyes and not what we see. Even now there is an uprising of false prophets who can perform signs and wonders. In many cases it can appear as if the false prophets can perform greater signs and wonders than real prophets. Remember if a minister’s words, signs and wonders are not submitted to the foot of the cross and in Christ they are false prophets no matter how sincere they are.
The only way you are truly able to rightfully discern is by using the wisdom and discernment of God. People who don’t carry the wisdom of God don’t have discernment.
Matthew 11:12 (NKJV)
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
In the days to come God will give those who walk in the wisdom of God divine instructions as to how to navigate through His kingdom. Remember the wisdom of God also releases divine strategies and instructions that solves problems. God will give you a strategy to solve every problem. He gives business plans, creative solutions, million dollars ideas. Remember along with the wisdom of God, comes the wealth of God. Solomon introduced us to this, even now to this day when you walk in the wisdom of God His wealth will soon follow. When we seek His kingdom the wealth will come. Remember whatever God calls you to He will pay for it. If He hasn’t paid for it maybe your trying to access it absent from God’s purpose, plan and timing.
This is not a game. We are at war. You ability to win is dependent up your level of maturity in God. Immature soldiers don’t fight wars. Immature saints don’t fight spiritual battles either. It is time we put the children to bed, now is the time for the real warriors to stand up and do battle. We already won the war believe it or not but now is still the time to fight.
Warning: When you walk in the wisdom of God often times it can causes you to be ostracized and persecuted. You will find that people would rather believe a lie rather than the truth. When you represent the truth it’s as if people want to close their ears and run in the opposite direction.
When you walk in wisdom you represent forward thinking. Meaning you make decisions today anticipating the future. People who don’t walk in wisdom only are concerned about today. They make right now decisions instead of God decisions.
When you walk in the wisdom of God you won’t move out of His will. Can God trust you with more than is acts? Can He release His mind?
Something to think about.

How would you like your church or ministry to grow from 50 members to 3,000 members in one day? Have you ever heard of a ministry growing from 50 members to 3,000 in one day? Well believe it not it has happened before.
Acts 2:1-4 (KJV)
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
We should know the story by now, if not I encourage you to read it in it's entirety. The story goes on to say that the Holy Spirit fell and they began to speak in tongues and foreign languages. Peter who was previously so scared and denied Jesus at that moment gets up and boldly proclaims the word of the Lord. It teaches us that the anointing is what will also break the yoke of fear and give you boldness. Look at what happens here.
Acts 2:40-41 (NKJV)
A Vital Church Grows
40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.”
41 Then those who gladly[a] received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
Look at God! In one day they went from being a small group of people praying and waiting on God to growing to 3,000 members. Wow, all in one day! Most churches that grow to 3,000 members in a couple of years would be considered the fastest growing church in the area. Can you imagine such growth in one day?
This is just one example. The apostle Paul never spent time laboring trying to convince people to join his church. In fact he was operating and functioning as an Apostle as he planted multiple churches in multiple sights and they ALL grew. This was before the days of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, satellite dishes etc.. When it is God's work, it will grow. As yourself this question, is your house built by God or man? Again you don’t want to spend your time in life trying invest in a relationship, a church, a career that God didn’t build. You put in hard work but as the scripture says your labor is in vain. If God wants you to birth it, He will also build it.
Psalm 127:1-3 (NKJV)
1 Unless the LORD builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.
3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
I recently moved to a completely different city that was more than an hour and a half away from my old home. Moving can be quite a chore, packing up, organizing, decluttering. I love the idea of moving to a new place. I love experiencing a different way of living. I always said when I was a child I wanted to live in different places and travel the world before I settled down. So I love the idea of moving, off with the old and on to the new. However, I must confess I hate the idea of actually moving my stuff. When I get more finances I am actually going to pay someone to pack up and move my stuff for me.
Anyway, it’s been a few years since my last move. When I first moved I was fresh out of graduate school, looking for a job and a place to stay. So after not moving for a few years I guess I forgot how things went when you are the new girl in the city.
So after organizing, packing up and getting ready after a few days later I finally find myself somewhat organized with the help of my parents and in my new bed. Oddly enough Christians can be strange fruit when it comes to new people. As I arrived in my new city, having not been in the city two days I kid you not I had multiple and I do mean multiple request to come to other peoples church. I said I would visit but then I felt awkward saying no. I felt like if I said no I am not interested in visiting your church I would offend some people.
The truth of the matter is I had been looking for a church for a while now. I knew that I would move long before I ever packed up a bag and knew where too. I just knew in my spirit that this was the will of God. I personally think that the church you decide to join is one of the greatest choices you will ever have to make, next to the person you choose to spend the rest of your life with.
I know what kind of church I am looking for. I could care less about superficial things like size and if the music is to my liking. Although those things are to be considered if we aren’t so super spiritual and be honest. If you go to the church where the praise team is a hot mess more than likely the rest of the church will be also but that is neither here or there. I know the kind of church that I want to be apart of.
For me personally I have to be at a church that functions in the five fold ministry Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher and Evangelist. Sorry folks I am not interested in joining a new ministry. This is just my opinion you may have your own. I grew up around small churches where we heard messages about the building fund and how God is going to grow us. Been there done that got the t-shirt, not interested.
I personally don’t want to go to a church that is too traditional. Meaning if you have a church bulletin, with the order of service and Hymnal 1, 2 and 3 already preset more than likely your church is not for me. If your church sings that song, “all things come of thee Oh Lord and have thine own perfect will”. After the reciting of the written affirmation it’s more than likely not my church. Mind you there are churches that are very much like that and I don’t have a personal problem with any of them but I know me.
Wherever you go to get the word of God is up to you. Like I said I don’t think there is anything wrong with churches like that. I also don’t like to go to a church that is too modern. For example, I attended a church were it was like a rock concert every Sunday. The people would come to church with mini skirts on and tight jeans. It appeared as though some of the members would come to church with there club gear on just in case they had a party to go to after church or something. Mind you the word was good but not my kind of church. I think churches like that are more geared towards winning the unsaved and keeping the babies in Christ saved.
The point is there is a church for any and everyone. Church is not about form or fashion. Although I have to say I disagree with the club gear at church some things just should never be. You still should respect yourself and God and know where you are. Christians shouldn’t be going to clubs let alone wearing club attire at all and definitely not to church.
Church is more about your destiny. It is not a place where you are to be spoon fed and made to be happy long enough to get you through the week. Church is about knowing and receiving from God. When God connects you to a church it is just like a divine connection because a church has to do with your divine purpose for living. That’s why if you go to a church for any other reason your spirit man will die. We don’t go to church for the experience or for personalities. We go to church because we need to be around like believers where you can receive an imparted word, where you can get divine instructions and where the vision God has for you is awakened.
The point is you can hear from God anywhere. I typically hear from God when I am alone, when I go to the church that God has connected me to I receive confirmation based upon the word God has already spoken to me. Now some people go to church to hear a word from God and that is fine. But when you are a mature Christian you already got a word, you go to church for more than just a word from God.
In fact I always say our spiritual leaders don’t become God for us. They don’t become God’s voice for us. They don’t replace your own personal relationship with God. However a good church should always teach you the principles of how to hear the voice of God for yourself. Your church is not about your pastor. It is not really even about you it is about God’s kingdom and Him preparing His body to manifest His purpose on earth. The only way you get to know the kingdom is through His church. You cannot separate God’s kingdom from His church. So be cautious when you hear people say things like I am about the kingdom of God and not church. God never separated His kingdom from His church never. That is the anti-Christ spirit that tries and separate God from His bride. The anti-Christ wants to be spiritual, operate in signs and wonders but doesn’t want to submit it’s members to anybody called His church.
The point is as I was moving I had begun to contemplate what church I was going to. I had already decided long before I went what churches I was going to visit and possibly join. I honestly became overwhelmed by the amount of people who wanted me to come to their church. It was crazy.
I had been in the city literally two days and had multiple offers to go to someone’s church. I honestly could see it meant so much to them that I didn’t have the heart to say no. Then I thought how in the world am I going to be able to visit all of these churches. Most of them I had no intention of joining. I would only be visiting in a way to appease someone else. I even had people really try to push me to join their church. I went to a church for bible study and people were just so excited. Mind you I am just a quiet girl from nowhere I am nobody special it’s not like I am some celebrity trying to visit someone’s church.
People barely know my name, all they saw was a new face and new body possibly to join their church. I even had someone flat out asked me, “how did you like the message?” I replied I enjoyed it. Mind you that was it, I enjoyed it there wasn’t much to it so I wasn’t overly excited about it but it was okay. Then she quickly asked me was I coming back on Sunday. Mind you I had already predetermined in my mind within the first minutes of being their that I would not be returning. It wasn’t bad but sometimes you just know what’s for you and what is not for you. I could see the disappointment when I had to just flat out tell her no I would not be at her church that Sunday.
As I look at my surroundings I literally see a church on every corner. I see big churches, little churches, medium churches. I am sure every single one of them would love to have a new tither in their mist.
I even had people literally try to manipulate and get me to be at their church. It was crazy. In the name of discretion I won’t go into detail but really. I am not making this stuff up and I can honestly tell you that was not the first time it happened to me. I thought how sad.
It’s like now a days people are more church evangelist and not Christ evangelist. When you are a church evangelist you try to get as many people as you can come to your church. You are like a recruiter for the United States Army but instead you are a recruiter for your church. When you are a Christ evangelist you are trying to evangelist people to Christ not your church.
I thought if these same people would have asked me about prayer or my life. Not that I need that but if we have a heart of God and evangelize to people about Christ. Maybe even come with a word don’t you know that people will come to your church? People are hungry for the word not to come to another church. Particularly when there is a church on every corner. Some within walking distance of the other.
My main criteria for the church is the word. I could care less how someone preaches or prophesies. At some point in your walk with Christ you get over the hype and you just want the word. I am not interested in the acrobatics of church. I am not interested in emotionalism in church. All I care about is the word. I am a student and I love to be taught. If the man or woman of God can teach the word of God with a level of revelation knowledge you are good with me. If when you preach I have to take out my notepad and take notes, then that is my kind of church.
You see the point is when your vision is from God and is anointed by Him you don’t have to play games to get people into the seats. You don’t have to strive and work hard to get people to come to your church and join. You don’t even have to make a huge announcement. If it is in the will of God it will grow. The anointing is what attracts. Again people are hungry for the word not your church.
When you have to work hard to evangelize your church you are not in the will of God. If you have a church that you believe is in the will of God but it doesn’t grow you have to ask yourself is this a church that God has built or man? There is a difference.
Psalm 127:1 (KJV)
1.Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
You don’t have time to waste. It is a sad thing to spend your life working on a vision that God never told you to build. Believe it or not people have spent years trying to get a vision to grow that God never told them to build. Notice the scripture says it is God who builds the house. When you are in the will of God He draws people to it by the anointing. You don’t have to work hard when God is in it all you have to do is get into the flow or stream with God. All you do is get into position. If you have been a part of a vision for 20 and 30 years and it has never grown then your vision is not from God. You may think that I sound harsh but I don’t care. Whenever God is in it, it will grow.
The example is given by the Apostles all they needed was the Holy Spirit to fall.
So to answer the question how do you get your church or ministry to grow supernaturally?
It is the anointing and the anointing alone. If it is God, He grows it.
Anything else, networking, business cards, manipulating, teleconferences are tools not in and within themselves meant birth yourself out into ministry. ARE NOT OF GOD NEITHER HIS WILL.
AGAIN HOW DO YOU GROW YOUR MINISTRY SUPERNATURALLY? TURN YOUR PLATE DOWN, TURN YOUR CELL PHONE OFF! GET ON YOUR KNEES LIKE THEY DID ON THE DAY OF PENTECOSTE AND PRAY. DON’T MOVE UNTILL YOU HEAR GOD.
IT IS THE ANOINTING THAT DRAWS THE PEOPLE. EVERYTHING ELSE IS LABORING IN VAIN.
WHEN GOD BUILDS YOU A HOUSE HE WILL DRAW THE PEOPLE TO FILL IT.
Hey, it's tight but it is right. Some maybe be disappointed that I didn’t reveal some big secret but it is better to believe the truth rather than a lie.
You can network your way into many things, i.e business, positions, jobs but not into your ministry and kingdom assignment.

New King James Version (NKJV)
35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.
Confidence means full assurance, full certainty. There are many different areas that we exert confidence in. We must have full confidence in God. The bible has a few things to say about confidence. Confidence is so important to your development as a Christian. If you don’t have confidence, you don’t stand a chance. One of the strategies of the enemy is to rob you of your confidence. The anointing always flows through your confidence. For example, if God is telling you, “you are a winner”, but you keep telling God, “I am a loser.” God can’t move in your life as He wants to, because your lack of belief prevents the plan of God from coming forth.
Confidence is a good thing. Confidence is not the same as arrogance. Arrogance is the same as pride. Arrogance is an overarching sense of self importance. When a person is arrogant, they put themselves on a pedestal at the expense of others. Arrogance is when a person has a sense of superiority over others. For example, an arrogant person believes they are better than others. They make precocious statements about their own accomplishment while putting down another’s lack of accomplishments. I once heard a minister talk about his many accomplishments, all the while stating to the audience how they couldn’t do the same thing. This is an example of arrogance. Making statements like, “I have been saved for 10 years and you can't stay saved for five minutes.” Is an example of arrogance. This is someone who is boasting while putting another down, thereby displaying arrogance.
God absolutely despises the proud and arrogant. Proud means arrogance. God considers arrogance an abomination.
Proverbs 16:5 (NKJV)
5 Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD;
Though they join forces,[a] none will go unpunished
Revelation 21:8 (KJV)
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Proverbs 6:16-19 (NKJV)
16 These six things the LORD hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.
Abomination means a thing that causes disgust or hatred. It means vile, shameful, detestable, greatly disliked. God greatly dislikes pride and arrogance. In fact, when leaders fall, it is always preceded by their own pride.
Proverbs 16:18 (NKJV)
18 Pride goes before destruction,
And a haughty spirit before a fall
Haughty also means proud, arrogant, vain, conceited, snobbish, superior, self-important, pompous, supercilious, condescending, and patronizing.
By the way homosexuality is an abomination before God.
Leviticus 18:22 (NKJV)
22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.
It may seem that pride and arrogance are small matters, but to God, they are major disgraces before Him. God will not put up with arrogance in people, nations, or leaders.
There is a major difference between confidence and arrogance. Many people confuse the two. When you are confident, you know who are in Christ and you recognize without Him, you can do nothing. Arrogance on the other hand, is perverted confidence in ones one’s ability, that in turn, allows an individual to mistreat and put down another.
However, false humility is not of God either. False humility is the exact opposite of arrogance. False humility is lack confidence. It means to not acknowledge one’s accomplishments, to put others on a pedestal above themselves and not act or feel worthy of praise. Persons who exhibit false humility have an inability to receive. They can’t receive from man and they certainty cannot receive from God.
Humility is silent confidence in God. Humility means to submit yourself to God’s authority and to recognize that it is through Him that we are able to do mighty works. The bible says some awesome things about humble people. One of the greatest leaders that ever lived was known as a humble man. A humble person has a spirit of submission and servitude.

Tips to goal setting:
In my practice I set a lot of goals for the clients. Goals are written on the treatment plan, so that we know what we are working on and due to time limitations how we will get there.
Goals are what you want to accomplish. Interventions are how you will get there.
Things to know about goals, no matter how lofty they must be measurable. For example; Samaria will be able to decrease depressive symptoms as evidenced by displaying a decrease in crying spells from 7 days a week to less than three days a week. (I know it sounds strange but it is just an example)
When it comes to my personal goals I do something similar. What do I want to accomplish? How will I get there? What is the indicator that I have accomplished that goal? For me most of my goals are about my passions, writing, ministry, counseling if you hadn’t already guessed.
1. Start with an overall goal. Be careful because when you have a big goal, it is easy to get discouraged before you begin because the goal it so big.
2. What is the time frame? Example: Jane wants to have a 150 page book completed in 6 weeks. This is measurable. If the goals was Jane wants to complete a book, that is not measurable, although it is a goal.
3. Make the goal measurable based upon your own time frame and what you honestly believe you can do. Jane decided that if she writes roughly five pages a day for the next six weeks, give or take a few she will have her book completed by then. (Not including, editing, graphics, etc)
1. Have a accountability partner, if you don’t have one post your goals on facebook. I am not that brave yet but it is a good idea, knowing you have supportive people and to be honest some haters pushing you to do it, helps.
2. Don’t give up! Life will happen while you’re working towards your goal, determine in your heart not to give up. Know before going into it that there will be something.
3. For writing I just write first, then I revise what I say to ensure it makes sense. It inhibits the creative process, when you are constantly trying to fix and tweak stuff. Write it as the Holy Spirit leads then go back, read over it and start fixing it.
4. Write it down! Write your ideas down. I carry a notebook and I write as I get an idea. Most of the time the ideas eventually become titles of chapters. It may not be the project that I am working on at that moment but it ends up being somewhere without me trying.
5. Enjoy the process, don’t be so busy trying to get something accomplished that you miss out on the spontaneity of life. Enjoy your life.
6. Learn to say no. Sometimes what you are working on is more important than temporary satisfaction. When people demand your time as much as you possibly can say no. Of course for those who are wives, mothers, husbands etc this may not always be possible. The point is when you are pursing your dreams you must set boundaries. People mean well but your pursuit is more important. Value your time like money, be careful how and who you spend it on.
7. Why I do what I do. I remember a few years ago, I was at a job I hated, dreaming that one day I would be able to work on a project God told me to write. I remember being so stressed out from that job by the time I got home, I would go to sleep and pray the next day wouldn’t come so quickly. Thank God for deliverance, I no longer work at that job.
However it made me think. There will never be the perfect time to pursue your goals never. There will always be something getting in the way. The reality is your current situation is not conducive to your kingdom pursuit. Eventually God will open the door for you to do your kingdom assignment full time. If you wait for the right time it will never happen.
I thank God for all the jobs I hated yet had to go to. I believe He allows us to be uncomfortable so we pursue something greater. Are you uncomfortable? I guess not, because it is uncomfortability that will push you to pursue the greater in you. If you’re not pursuing it you are comfortable enough, no matter how much you complain about your current situation.
Finally when I am working on a project I never concern myself on who will read it. Who will purchase it, whether or not I will be a New York Times Best Seller. I know it is on the way. I know what God has promised me. My responsibility is to write. So I am pursuing my goals for the right motives not because I am trying to be seen.
Do yourself a favor, do it! Go for it! Write it! Your life depends upon it!
Remember in Christ we have the spirit of a finisher. He starts something in us and He will complete it. If our Father is like that towards us. We have His DNA in us, in you is the ability to finish what you start. You must start it in order to finish it!
The Message (MSG)
There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.

One of the greatest assassins to your spiritual destiny is always a soul tie. It is my agenda in this book to expose the underlying workings and strategies of the enemy.
Your success in God must be purposeful. The anointing must be protected at all cost. I heard a great man say that if God is going to elevate you to another dimension, He will send you somebody who is divinely connected to your life. When the devil wants to stop the purpose, plans, and destiny for your life he will send you somebody called a soul tie.
Today in Christendom we confuse divine connections with soul ties. Remember the devil is a counterfeit. He could not be God so everything he does, says, and thinks is to manipulate and appear to be the right thing but in reality it is the wrong. It is so imperative that as you read this book you hear the revelation God is trying to apart by His spirit. There are many things that can stop, delay and deny your destiny, but a soul tie cancels everything God has planned for you. It is a major kingdom principle that you only allow the people God has purposed for you to be in your life. Anything else will cost you and your destiny. Ask yourself is that person that God has told you to separate from worth your destiny? You may think it is not that serious but, when you align yourself with a soul tie you are then, disallowing and permanently stopping your true destiny in God from coming forth.
I remember this past summer; while I was at my parent’s house I had a dream. In the dream there was someone that I was very close to. This person had decided they didn’t want to truly serve God. This person had created a spiritual Ishmael in their lives but I was still connected to them. In the dream I heard God tell me I had to separate myself and either choose God or choose man. I said in my heart, “God I choose you, I still choose you”. God was telling me to disconnect from someone that I loved dearly. Ishmael is representative of man trying to accomplish God’s plan through human means. Abraham created Ishmael when he felt that he could no longer wait on God for his promise. God was requiring me to disconnect with someone who decided they were no longer going to connect with God.
The point is the people that start out with you, will not be the people that make it to the promise with you. Many Christians try to hold on to what God has told them to let go of. God is not going to bless you unless you let it go.
Remember if God has a blessing for you it is for you. Just because you want to allow everyone into your prophetic promise does not mean He will allow it. Remember what you don’t let go of will cost you your destiny. God is not going to allow someone into His anointing that He does not want there. God will say “okay since you won’t let go I am shutting the door on you!” He won’t say “okay since you really want this person I will allow them to come into what I have promised you.”
This is a strategic hour within the body of Christ. We have false anointing, false prophets and false prophesies rising up like never before. You must in this hour serve the true and living God. You must meet every requirement. One of the most difficult requirements God ever requires of His people is that, they let go of anything and anyone that is not assigned to their lives.
I am a dreamer. As God was preparing me to write this book, He spoke to me through several dreams and visions.
I had another dream where I was going to this conference being held by one of the big time preachers. This person in their day was the premier, most successful preachers of our time. In the dream this individual was holding a conference and I was there. The conference was being held in what looked like a store front in a mall. There were maybe twenty to fifty people at max in the little store front. I remember leaning to my neighbor and saying “so and so use to sell out arenas now look”. The person had clearly lost their mantle. There was no anointing in the place. Then the dream skips to another place and the individual said to me in the dream, “it was not my fault”. I said, “your right it was not your fault but you still need to repent because God told you not to allow that person in your life and you did anyway”. Then the dream ended with an audible voice saying, “all because of a soul tie”.
Now I have changed some details of the dream as to not reveal the identity of the person I had the dream about. I respect leadership, authority and never make it my business to put my mouth on anyone even fallen leaders. But you get what I am trying to say.
God takes unholy alliances very seriously. Again I am sounding like a broken record but I must repeat myself over and over again through out this book. Soul ties cost you your destiny and purpose for being on this earth.
So exactly what is a soul tie? A soul tie is someone who is spiritually connected by the soul. Now that may sound holy but you don’t want a connection by the soul if your going to fulfill God’s purpose for your life you want a divine connection by the spirit of God. God operates through divine assignment. So whenever He connects anyone to your life it will always be someone who has a similar assignment. There will always be someone preordained for your life that God has for you to meet His promise. Apart of your divine assignment will always be something you could not do on your own. There will always be a part of your assignment that you can’t accomplish without help.
Remember the devil has a purpose and plan for your life too. The devil never wants you to fulfill God’s plan for your life! He has generational curses he wants for you. He wants to stop you in your tracks, leave you impotent and powerless. In fact, one major difference between a soul tie and a divine connection is that divine connections are meant to bring you closer to your destiny. When you meet a divine connection your prophetic baby leaps inside you and you know another part of your destiny is being awakened.
However the complete opposite happens when you align yourself a soul tie. You are slowly and deceptively being taken away from your destiny. The anointing that you once walked in, slowly to leaves. Your strength is gone and you don’t even know it. When a soul tie connects to your life you wake up one morning realizing that you are at a place you never wanted to be, with someone you didn’t really know and most importantly your destiny is nowhere near. Soul ties always take you away from the purpose and plan of God for your life. ALWAYS!
From the very beginning of time, divine connections were the means by which God intended for man to fulfill His promises on earth.
Genesis 1:28 (NKJV)
28. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
So in the beginning one of the major assignments that God gave man was that they be fruitful and multiply. Mind you Adam could not be fruitful and multiply by himself. It is the same today there will be apart of your God given assignment that you will not be able to do on your own. So let’s look at God’s answer for Adams assignment.
Genesis 2:18-24 (NKJV)
18 And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” 19 Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
23 And Adam said:
“This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”
24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
Once Eve came into Adam’s life then he was equipped to complete the assignment God had given him to do. Notice God did not give the assignment to Eve. He gave the assignment to Adam. Eve was the missing piece that would help Adam meet his goal. Therefore Eve was Adam’s help mate.
Notice in the scripture Adam did not go looking for Eve. Adam didn’t know He needed Eve God decided that it was time for Adam to have a divine helper. So it is today you don’t go looking for a divine connection when it is your time God connects you with the right person at the right time.
There is always a pattern by which God does things. Divine connections is a divine kingdom law that God uses to bring about His plans for man on earth. Again because satan is a counterfeit soul ties is always a diabolical satanic law, orchestrated by his demonic kingdom to prevent God’s people from fulfilling God’s plan for the earth from manifesting.
That’s why I don’t even like using the word soul mate, if your are single and believing God for a husband or a wife. You still don’t want a soul mate you want a divine connection that has been prepared and preordained by God Himself. So let us journey and see what God has to say about soul ties.
One of the major assignments of a soul tie is to take you away from the voice of God and have you submitting to another voice.
John 10:27 (NKJV)
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
Because Soul ties are meant to take you away from the voice of God they will have you question what God has told you to do. Soul ties always cause you to fall into sin and lead you away from God. Just like God’s mission from the very beginning was to bring man divine connections again it was the devils agenda to deceive man by leading them away from God’s voice.
The first thing a soul tie will do is have you to question what God said. So you make statement’s like, did God really say that? Did He really mean no? So you begin to question what you knew for sure was what God was requiring you to do.
Genesis 3:1 (NKJV)
The Temptation and Fall of Man
3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
Soul ties lead you into immorality and lavish living. As stated soul ties look, act and speak as if they are divine connections. Remember as stated they are counterfeits just like their father satan. So yes a soul tie is a preaching prophesying, no good demon.
Soul ties wear church suits and carry bibles in their hands. Soul ties prophesy over you accurately. Remember a half truth equals a whole lie. Soul ties prophesy to you half truths. Soul ties manipulate the prophetic to having you believing something God did not say. Soul ties don’t look, sound or speak as if they are divinely assigned by the devil. In fact they speak, look and sound as if they are sent by God.
That’s why we must know the voice of God and we must walk in discernment. Soul ties are not intimidating, ugly looking creatures that make you question God. Soul ties are tongue talking, bible believing Christians that make you question God.
That is why we must not be deceived by what we see. Use discernment and DISCONNECT yourself from everyone and everything that God tells you to disconnect from. Soul ties cost you everything AND I DO MEAN EVERYTHING!
Remember a soul ties main objective is to turn you away from that which God has for your life
When you align yourself with a soul tie you slowly begin to compromise. The soul tie begins to actually take the place of God so you can’t serve Him whole heartedly. It is a slow moving away from God. You begin to not be as close to God as you have been in the past.
I always say when you look at your life and consider where your life took a turn for the worse it is always a direct correlation between who you came in connection with.
You see God has consecrated us for his purpose. No unclean thing can be in the presence of God. Notice in the scripture the bible God says that the unholy alliance would turn them away from God. Not only do soul ties turn you away from the purpose and plans that God has for you. Soul ties turn you away from God Himself.
You may say “no that can never happen!” Remember, soul ties are a slow leading away and deception from satan. Soul ties underlying motives are to replace God in your life. You can’t serve God whole heartedly with a soul tie. When you are connected to a soul tie there is always a struggle between your relationship with God and the soul tie. You can’t serve God like you use to serve God when you have a soul tie connected to your life.
After continuing to hang around a soul tie a person begins to submit themselves to the control and manipulation of that soul tie instead of God. Remember again it does not happen overnight it is a slow leading away. Soul ties are always manipulating spirits. Soul ties are often being used by familiar spirits. That’s why soul ties can preach, prophesy, speak in tongues and are still being used by the devil. Familiar spirits are spirits that are deceptive enough to look like God’s people when they are satan’s agents.
Matthew 7:6 (NKJV)
6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
Remember when you hang around dirt you will get dirty. Scripture tells us don’t cast your pearls to swine. Ladies you are God’s pearls. You have no business hanging around guys who are not Christian. You have no business associating yourself with a man who doesn’t not know your value. If a man does not have a true relationship with Christ he doesn’t know your value and he doesn’t know your worth. He is simply not capable to treating you like God would have you be treated. Don’t look at the outward appearance look at the fruit. Just because someone goes to church does not mean they are saved.
Guy’s it is the same for you. Remember a demon is a demon. A woman can dress up in the right church shoes, wear the right clothes, do the church shout and still be a demon. Don’t be deceived by outward appearance. If a woman has no real relationship with God before she met you, she is not capable of being a help mate to you. She will be your worse nightmare. The last thing you need in your life is a woman whose emotions are unstable. Guys the last thing you need is to date with a Jezebel. Don’t be intimated by a woman of God.
Have you ever had knew someone who was once so spiritual? You talked about the things of God and were excited about what God was doing. It was like your spirits were connected. The next thing you know that person hooks up with somebody otherwise known as a soul tie and it appears as if they have lost their minds?
Soul Ties cost you everything and I do mean everything, including your prophetic destiny, your ministry, yourself, your soul and you hopes and dreams.
Unfortunately I will have to end my blog post here. This is actually an excert from my book entitled; Soul Ties it is one my favorite books I have written. 1. Do it now! Write Now! Don't let fear and insecurity stop you from pursuing a desire God has placed in your heart.
2. You will find your voice as you write. You don't have to have it all figured out from start to finished.
3. Writing is a ministry just like any other ministry. Holy Spirit will anoint your words and accelerate your progress. The more you do it the better you'll get at it.
4. Don't write because you want to make money, write because your inner voice won't shut up until you do. Eventually increase will come. I have to write, I need to write. (Seriously!)
5. Don't worry about who doesn't believe in your dream, eventually they will get it. It is not your responsibility to prove yourself to anybody.
6. Everyone has a story, everyone is not a writer. Just because someone has published a book doesn't mean they are a writer. If you are passionate about it then more than likely you are a writer.
7. Content, content, content. You can typeset, marginalize, and increase font to make little content seem like much, however at the end of the day your book shouldn't need all that if you have enough content. If you don't have enough to have a full book, work with a ghost writer, keep at it or hire writing services to get it where it needs to be.
Believe it! Content is what gets you taken seriously by other professionals and keeps the reader coming back for more.
The bottom line is your book should look like a book, not a pamphlet or a brochure.
It is the same if you want to publish a workbook. Workbooks that I use in my practice are typically over 100 pages or more. A workbook should definately be more than 10 pages or it is not a workbook.
Google: industry standards for books and follow suite.
8. Yes people do judge a book by its cover but don't worry about all that for now. You can have a great cover with nothing inside, you still have no book.
9. You don't have to pay anyone to publish your book. You do need an editor and someone to help with a cover design.
10. Don't give up! Stop procrastinating! What are you waiting on?
It is really fear that stops us, not lack of motivation!
Psalm 45:1 (NKJV)
45 My heart is overflowing with a good theme;I recite my composition concerning the King;My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
People that are always dwelling on, talking about and fixating on what others have negatively done to them are deeply emotionally wounded. It simply means there are roots of bitterness, resentment, insecurity and unforgiveness in their hearts. These issues must be dealt with and resolved. You can say you have forgiven but your repeated actions prove otherwise.
Jesus didn't look at His enemies while He was on the cross and try to get back at them.
He said, "forgive them Father they don't know what they are doing."
You don't respond or cast out hate with hate. You cast out hate with love.
Often times your enemy is your enemy because they themselves are emotionally wounded.
Forgiveness is a common word in Christianity and it is hard. But not doing it stops your own progress. Ask God to forgive them and you do the same.
Determine to stop trying to prove to your enemies who you are. They already know who you are or they wouldn't be an enemy.
Let your actions show you are a Christian. Let your words do the same.
A few weeks ago I had another client in my office. She was extremely rude. I mean extremely extremely rude. She sat in my office with shades on and barely answered my questions. When she did respond to my questions they were very condescending and sarcastic. I mean I have had some experiences in my line of work but she was one of the worst.
I immediately knew it wasn't anything I had done to her. Really she was emotionally wounded. It just happened my assignment from God was to be the person she met that day. Yes it was an opportunity to show the love of Christ but honestly it was hard. I did but it wasn't easy and my flesh wanted to scream.
Anyway last week she ask to see me. So I walk over she says, "I am so sorry for how rude I was to you. You were so patient with me. It wasn't you I was just going through that day and you didn't deserve that."
Turns out I had referred her to another minister who works there she was very encouraged and doing a lot better. Although her situation had not changed completely she was getting help. The point is I was so glad in that moment that my flesh didn't respond like I wanted to.
When people take issue with you and are down right attacking, rude and demeaning most times it really has nothing to do with you. Particularly when they really don't know you or your situation like that. You would think that since we both know struggle people would know how to respond to each other in a appropriate Christ like manner. But that isn't always the case. This client was a devoted Christian by the way.
The point is I choose not to respond to hate. Hate can't cast out hate. Rude can't cast out rude. The only answer to hate is love.
Show the love of Christ even when it hurts and God will bless you. That woman came out with greater respect for me. I came out with a greater more profound love for CHRIST and her honestly. I wouldn't hesitate to help her again even if she was rude because the lesson was so much greater than the hurt.
I choose not to respond but to show the love of Christ regardless of the circumstance.
Beside when your in Christ you don't have to prove yourself to anyone He has already approved you.

Isaiah 42:8 God declared that He would not share His glory with another.
• Giving your power over to someone else, for them to control, manipulate, and dominate you as they please.
• Your happiness is defined by someone else’s definition
• I would be happy but, he or she won’t let me.
• Your opinions, thoughts, and feeling don’t matter.
• Walking on egg shells
• Second guess yourself, at the suggestion of another.
• Feeling powerless at the hands of others.
• Whenever someone tells you to stand up for yourself, you respond with a yeah but… and the yeah but…. always has something to do with whether or not someone else will respond negatively to your request to be treated respectfully.
• Take back control• No one has power over you, unless you give it to them.• Stop the blame game, it is your choice.• Don’t complain about what you allow.• No one wants to hear a sob story that you are not willing to change.• Set a boundary and follow through.• You are in control of your own destiny.• Life, power and success is in your hands, you decide to win or lose, once you are an adult no one can make you fail or succeed, you do that.• Stand up for yourself• Your opinion, voice matters!• Practice, practice, practice !!!!!i) Start practicing assertive responses in the meantime.ii) Start practicing in small things. (ie: the lady at the counter starts to help someone else after you have been waiting, speak up.)iii) Roll play, practice with another support person. (your therapist, good friend)iv) Don’t apologize in advance when you speak up “I am sorry but I can’t take you to the grocery story today, I have no gas.” A simple “no” will do.v) Feel the guilt, but don’t let it detour your response.vi) Avoid arguments by calmly speaking your truth and walking away.vii) Counseling helps• Remember no one can be anyone’s everything. If someone’s happiness is dependent up being around you that is not a person for you.• Remember no one can be your everything. If your happiness is dependent up on another person that, that person is not for you. People will get tired of having to constantly pump you, pry you or try your emotions. It is better to be alone, and learn who you are than to be in a relationship.• If you can’t love being by yourself no one else will love being around you either.
• God has not given us a spirit of fear.
• Co-dependent relationships are soul ties.
• He will make us bold as lions.
• The only one you are supposed to be completely solely dependent upon is Christ, anyone else is idolatry (idol worship).
Allow the Holy Spirit to break you free from Learned Helplessness.Disconnect from anyone who is emotional, mental and spiritually draining to you. This is a soul tie.
I recommend reading my book: Soul Ties

Speaking out against sin, injustice and immorality is not judging. It is the standard of Christ, His kingdom and His people.
Christians clearly need to read their bibles. Did you know that when you don't speak up for God He will hold you responsible for the blood of sinners as if you committed the act?
Did you know that when you don't speak you deny Him? When you deny Him He will deny you access to Heaven?
Did you know that Christians will judge angels, demons and the world? Did you know judgement starts in the house of God first?
If you didn't maybe you should OPEN YOUR BIBLE AND READ IT!
Instead of forming an opinion form a God thought based upon scripture.
Did you know being an undercover Christian will not get you into heaven or a real relationship with God?
You will be tested. Your belief will be put on trial. You will be forced to speak on where your true alliance is. Your response indicates whether you belong to God or not.
Scripture reference that confirm what I am saying.
Ezekiel 3, Ezekiel 2, Jeremiah 1:17-19, Matthew 10:16-26, 2 Timothy 4:2, Matthew 5:13-16, I Corinthians 6:1-6, I Peter 4:17-18, John 15:18-25 Luke 12:8-12 Luke 12:2 Matthew 10:33 I Peter 4:12-19
(There are more trust me!)Much more!
Passive people are powerless people. Assertive people are bold for Christ, yet still walk in love, compassion and wisdom. Open mouths, versus closed mouths.
Did you know you WILL be persecuted for righteousness sake? If Jesus could not avoid trouble and He was perfect what makes you think you can?
There are two reasons why Christian don't speak.
1. They claim Christ but there actions, ideas, motives and habitual sin all indicate they really don't belong to Him.
2. Fear wanting to avoid confrontation or overly concerned about how they will be perceived.
Again if they hated Jesus without cause what makes you think your going to avoid being hated? Better yet why do you care?
You can speak to someone in love. You can honor God, and lovingly speak against their lifestyle in love.
Did you know you said you belong to Christ? Act like it!
If you didn't know now you know!

Kingdom Purpose: Excerpt from the book Kingdom Mandates, Kingdom Mantles and Kingdom Authority
Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ultimately the purpose of God is to advance His kingdom. It is to establish His rule and His reign in the earth. It is also to bring others into the body of Christ through salvation.Purpose is the meaning or reason something has been created. As stated, nothing is created without a purpose in mind. God doesn’t wait until we are born to figure out what we are supposed to be. Before we are ever a thought in our parents mind, God had a plan of who we would be and what He wanted us to become.
Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV)5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you;Everything about us, our characteristics, our flaws, our specific quirks are because God had His idea of who we would be. If you have ever felt different, odd compared to your peers, associates, or family, it is not your imagination. You really were created different for a reason. That difference was specific to your purpose for being on earth. For example, I have always been the quiet one in the family. From a very small child my parents nicknamed me “bookie”, because I always had my mind elsewhere and my head in a book. I am naturally a quiet and I love to sit and observe the world. From a child, my favorite thing to do was to sit in my room alone and be by myself. My sisters are both loud, and outgoing; while I am a natural introvert. Now it makes sense, I have the true spirit of a writer. Of course writers come with different personalities, but most tend to love books more than most people and they love being alone trying to figure out the world. God made me the way I am because He knew I’d be a writer. I can’t stand being around a lot of people for long periods of time. I’d rather be somewhere writing or reading a book. I’d rather write than talk. I’d rather listen to someone else than be heard. Of course as time has gone by, I have had to be more balanced, but my core personality is the same. I wouldn’t be a writer if I didn’t have a personality that likes to spend hours and hours alone. However, there are some aspects of your personality that has nothing to do with your assignment but it still fits. Imagine my call into ministry where I saw myself declaring the word of God with power and authority. Despite how quiet I am I love to teach. So not only does God know our purpose, He creates us uniquely and designs us based upon His purpose for us.Luke 14:28-32 (NKJV)28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it—29 lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him,30 saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’?31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?32 Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace.Again, God doesn’t just sit down and consider what He needs you for; He sits down and makes your personality fit your purpose.Psalms 139:13 (GNT)13 You created every part of me;you put me together in my mother's womb.
So everything we are is created with God’s divine purpose in mind. Purpose doesn’t to deal with what you will be, but what you already are. When your process and purpose meets, then you have manifestation.Purpose also refers to how an object is supposed to be handled. For example, when you know your purpose, you are not willing to accept second best. When you know your purpose, you tend to build relationships with people who have similar passions. I heard a pastor say that when you don’t know the purpose for a thing, abuse is inevitable. For example, books are for reading. However, if I use my books for holding a window panel open, or as fire for my fireplace I am abusing the purpose for which the thing was created. Books can be used to prop open a window, they can be used to keep the camp fire going. However, if I use the books for that, I am missing the true treasure for which the book was created. What if the book, had secrets to become a millionaire? Or what if the books provided some other hidden secret that was the key that would unlock my success? I would miss all of what is being offered because I am not using the object for the purpose for which it was created. It is the same with people, inside of us is that hidden treasure but people’s gifts, talents, and abilities are being abused because they are not using the creative purpose for which they are created. Even worse, people are going through life depressed, unhappy, and waiting to die, because they believe they have no purpose to live. Many of these people simply don’t know that they have a greater purpose for being. We were created to be what God called us to be not just exist.I am a licensed therapist; a part of my job is to do comprehensive clinical assessments. An assessment is when the clinician interviews the client for about an hour sometimes ninety minutes. The clinician is asking specific questions to diagnosis the client with a mental health condition and to get a clinical picture of how the person came to be, who they are, and the direction the therapist should approach in therapy. One of the questions I tend to ask the client other than their symptoms is what are they passionate about? What are their goals? You’d be surprised; most people either don’t know or are just trying to survive one day to the next. That is no way to live. In God’s kingdom, we don’t live to die, die to live.Purpose gives you a reason to live. Pursuit of the purpose, which we will talk about in a later chapter, gives you the persistence to keep going on despite whatever obstacles you face. Purpose gives the individual a reason for being. When you know your purpose, you have a reason to go on, despite your present circumstances.Purpose gives us the answers to the questions of life. Why I am here? Why did I go through that? Why am I going through this difficulty? Why was I rejected? Why, why, why. The answer is always because of purpose. Purpose is the answer to the why’s of life. We go through certain struggles, because God is preparing us to fulfill His divine purpose for our lives. Nothing happens by happenstance. Nothing happens accidentally. Nothing is without cause. You want to be on the good side of purpose and the not bad. The reality is, even evil has a purpose. The devil has an agenda and a purpose. Although it is not the original purpose that God intended for us to have, it is a purpose none the less.John 10:10 (KJV)10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. That brings me to an interesting point that I have never heard anyone mention about purpose. The reality is, there are two purposes that can exist within a person’s life. There is God’s divine purpose for your life, and there is the enemy’s purpose for your life. Oh yes! Satan does have an agenda and purpose for your life. Satan’s purpose is always perverted. Satan’s purpose for your life is always meant to take you away from God’s purpose for your life. Think about your favorite R&B singer. These people are NOT being used by God. Satan has an agenda. It is very possible to have success by the world’s standards and still lose your soul. So when I talk about purpose, I am intending to awaken the God ordained purpose for your life.Mark 8:36 (KJV)36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? There is even a reason that curses exist in the earth, and it is always a result of rebellion or turning away from God’s original purpose or intent.Proverbs 26:2 (KJV)As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.So don’t assume because a person is successful they are fulfilling their God ordained purpose. Position with man doesn’t mean position with God. Authority with man doesn’t mean authority with God.In fact, we are seeing a great compromise through many of our leaders in the church. These people are successful by man’s standards, but God is not pleased. I believe that we are going to see a great uprising, where the remnant is going to be raised up to take the position of these prominent leaders. God takes no pleasure in making you successful if it is not through Him. God abhors compromisers and will not stand for it.Again, the enemy cannot create anything. That is one thing he will never be able to do, no matter how hard he tries. So when I say the enemy has a purpose for you, I am not intending to suggest that he creates a purpose. Again all satan does is pervert the original intent for which God creates a thing. For example, we know that the earth was created in God’s fullness and for His agenda. However, when satan introduced sin to Eve in the garden of Eden. The earth then became sin natured and the original intent for which the earth was created then was perverted. However, when Christ died on the cross He reconciled the cross back to Himself. Another example is the R & B singer that I mentioned. The purpose for worship which we will talk about in another chapter, was to bring honor to God and to set the atmosphere for God’s presence to manifest. Yet someone who sings music that is full of lust, sex, perverted love, is an example of purpose perverted. God never creates a minstrel to promote sin. I encourage you to pick up my latest book The Heart of Worship.Remember the gift of God is without repentance. Meaning just because you have a gift from God, doesn’t mean you are using the gift to honor God.Romans 11:29 (NIV)29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.Again so just because someone is gifted doesn’t mean they are anointed. This is why we shouldn’t be so caught up in a person’s position or title. God is faithful. He puts the gift in us, but we have to decide whether the gift will be used for His glory or to glorify the devil and His agenda.Satan knows our purpose long before we do. He will try to stop it from coming forth in its infancy. There are two kinds of people that are unsuccessful in God’s eyes; those who never used their gift or abilities and the one who uses their gift and ability for sin and shame. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be either.
God’s Purpose vs Satan’s Perverted PurposeBrings honor to God vs Brings honor to selfWorships God Adultery, vs worship of selfHoliness vs SinPosition with God first then man vs Position with man first no position with God.Authority on the earth and in heaven Superficial authority on earth with man, vsno authority in heaven or with God.Humility Pride vs ArroganceEternal reward Temporary reward on earth, but hell is the final destinationIrrevocablevs vsRevocableNon compromising vs CompromisingGod Serving, advancing His Kingdom, for His purpose Self-seeking, selfish motives, self-serving
Remember, God doesn’t care about lip services. We know who belongs to Him by the fruit that they bare. If the fruit reflects sin and shame, so is the root and no matter how many scriptures it quotes, it is of the devil. However, if the fruit is Godly it belongs to God.Your purpose is always complete in God. You will never find fulfillment in purpose outside of God. Kingdom purpose is always in three different forms. There is the universal or worldwide purpose. The universal or worldwide purpose is found within the word of God. It is the same for all generations. We are a called out body of believers sent to advance His will on earth. There is corporate purpose. Your corporate purpose can be within your local area, your local church. It is an assignment for more than one person, or a specific body of believers. Then there is your individual purpose it is your part or specific purpose within the corporate and universal purpose of God. However, each sphere of purpose is always interrelated and cannot be separated from one another. Most people focus on their individual purpose and end up missing it because we must realize that our purpose is not about us it is about God and fulfilling His mandate. Remember we spoke of mandate in the previous chapter. So when you seek God don’t just seek your individual assignment you must know how it relates to your corporate body and the world wide kingdom of God.First your individual purpose is again the office specific function you have within the body of Christ. Your individual purpose is your part within a greater vision. For example, let say you work for a company, you are not the company, you have a role or job to play within the company that at the end of it all is for the advancement of the company as a whole. You are a great part of the body of Christ, you are a part of the team. However, again if you don’t already know seek God for how your individual purpose or place is related to the corporate and universal agenda of God. Look at what the scripture says about your part within the body of Christ.1 Corinthians 12:4-31The Message (MSG)4-11 God’s various gifts are handed out everywhere; but they all originate in God’s Spirit. God’s various ministries are carried out everywhere; but they all originate in God’s Spirit. God’s various expressions of power are in action everywhere; but God himself is behind it all. Each person is given something to do that shows who God is: Everyone gets in on it, everyone benefits. All kinds of things are handed out by the Spirit, and to all kinds of people! The variety is wonderful:wise counselclear understandingsimple trusthealing the sickmiraculous actsproclamationdistinguishing between spiritstonguesinterpretation of tongues. All these gifts have a common origin, but are handed out one by one by the one Spirit of God. He decides who gets what, and when.12-13 You can easily enough see how this kind of thing works by looking no further than your own body. Your body has many parts—limbs, organs, cells—but no matter how many parts you can name, you’re still one body. It’s exactly the same with Christ. By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which he has the final say in everything. (This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.) Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain—his Spirit—where we all come to drink. The old labels we once used to identify ourselves—labels like Jew or Greek, slave or free—are no longer useful. We need something larger, more comprehensive.14-18 I want you to think about how all this makes you more significant, not less. A body isn’t just a single part blown up into something huge. It’s all the different-but-similar parts arranged and functioning together. If Foot said, “I’m not elegant like Hand, embellished with rings; I guess I don’t belong to this body,” would that make it so? If Ear said, “I’m not beautiful like Eye, limpid and expressive; I don’t deserve a place on the head,” would you want to remove it from the body? If the body was all eye, how could it hear? If all ear, how could it smell? As it is, we see that God has carefully placed each part of the body right where he wanted it.
19-24 But I also want you to think about how this keeps your significance from getting blown up into self-importance. For no matter how significant you are, it is only because of what you are a part of. An enormous eye or a gigantic hand wouldn’t be a body, but a monster. What we have is one body with many parts, each its proper size and in its proper place. No part is important on its own. Can you imagine Eye telling Hand, “Get lost; I don’t need you”? Or, Head telling Foot, “You’re fired; your job has been phased out”? As a matter of fact, in practice it works the other way—the “lower” the part, the more basic, and therefore necessary. You can live without an eye, for instance, but not without a stomach. When it’s a part of your own body you are concerned with, it makes no difference whether the part is visible or clothed, higher or lower. You give it dignity and honor just as it is, without comparisons. If anything, you have more concern for the lower parts than the higher. If you had to choose, wouldn’t you prefer good digestion to full-bodied hair?25-26 The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part dependent on every other part, the parts we mention and the parts we don’t, the parts we see and the parts we don’t. If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance.27-31 You are Christ’s body—that’s who you are! You must never forget this. Only as you accept your part of that body does your “part” mean anything. You’re familiar with some of the parts that God has formed in his church, which is his “body”:apostlesprophetsteachersmiracle workershealershelpersorganizersthose who pray in tongues. But it’s obvious by now, isn’t it, that Christ’s church is a complete Body and not a gigantic, unidimensional Part? It’s not all Apostle, not all Prophet, not all Miracle Worker, not all Healer, not all Prayer in Tongues, not all Interpreter of Tongues. And yet some of you keep competing for so-called “important” parts. But now I want to lay out a far better way for you.The scripture in I Corinthians 12 is very powerful and a true illustration of Kingdom purpose. We must be clear about our specific purpose. Remember, this is important because as stated in the previous chapter, you will only have authority in places that God has purposed for you. We will talk more about Kingdom authority in another chapter. However you will only be successful in what God has purposed for you.As God is getting ready to birth you into your part of the ministry be very clear about who you are. Be willing to say no when it is not a part of your assignment. In fact, I recently had an incident where I was being asked to help a family member. I initially said yes, however after going further into it, I had no peace about it. I realized I had no grace to carry out the help that was needed. The reason why is because although the person needed help, and I appeared to be the best person for the job; it became very clear to me that it was not a part of my ministry or my assignment. In fact, it would have been a major distraction to me fulfilling the call of God on my life.Again, be clear because the enemy will use opportunity as a distraction if you are not clear. You are going to see many doors of opportunity open to you. However, don’t be so pressed about an opportunity that you assume it is God.When you are clear about your assignment and your purpose you can confidently say no, because you can rightly discern what is an opportunity from God and what is a distraction from the enemy. Remember, the enemy doesn’t always come as an enemy he comes as an angel of light, he knows how to manipulate and make himself appear to be a part of Christendom. As God is birthing you out, you have to be clear and confident in your gifting, your purpose, and your place within the body of Christ.Remember there is purpose, the why you were called, then there is the mandate (assignment) what you are to do.
