Soul Ties

One of the greatest assassins to your spiritual destiny is always a soul tie. It is my agenda in this book to expose the underlying workings and strategies of the enemy.
 
Your success in God must be purposeful. The anointing must be protected at all cost. I heard a great man say that if God is going to elevate you to another dimension, He will send you somebody who is divinely connected to your life. When the devil wants to stop the purpose, plans, and destiny for your life he will send you somebody called a soul tie.
 
Today in Christendom we confuse divine connections with soul ties. Remember the devil is a counterfeit. He could not be God so everything he does, says, and thinks is to manipulate and appear to be the right thing but in reality it is the wrong. It is so imperative that as you read this book you hear the revelation God is trying to apart by His spirit. There are many things that can stop, delay and deny your destiny, but a soul tie cancels everything God has planned for you. It is a major kingdom principle that you only allow the people God has purposed for you to be in your life. Anything else will cost you and your destiny. Ask yourself is that person that God has told you to separate from worth your destiny? You may think it is not that serious but, when you align yourself with a soul tie you are then, disallowing and permanently stopping your true destiny in God from coming forth.


 
I remember this past summer; while I was at my parent’s house I had a dream. In the dream there was someone that I was very close to. This person had decided they didn’t want to truly serve God. This person had created a spiritual Ishmael in their lives but I was still connected to them. In the dream I heard God tell me I had to separate myself and either choose God or choose man. I said in my heart, “God I choose you, I still choose you”. God was telling me to disconnect from someone that I loved dearly. Ishmael is representative of man trying to accomplish God’s plan through human means. Abraham created Ishmael when he felt that he could no longer wait on God for his promise. God was requiring me to disconnect with someone who decided they were no longer going to connect with God.




 
The point is the people that start out with you, will not be the people that make it to the promise with you. Many Christians try to hold on to what God has told them to let go of. God is not going to bless you unless you let it go.




 
Remember if God has a blessing for you it is for you. Just because you want to allow everyone into your prophetic promise does not mean He will allow it. Remember what you don’t let go of will cost you your destiny. God is not going to allow someone into His anointing that He does not want there. God will say “okay since you won’t let go I am shutting the door on you!” He won’t say “okay since you really want this person I will allow them to come into what I have promised you.”




 
This is a strategic hour within the body of Christ. We have false anointing, false prophets and false prophesies rising up like never before. You must in this hour serve the true and living God. You must meet every requirement. One of the most difficult requirements God ever requires of His people is that, they let go of anything and anyone that is not assigned to their lives.




 
I am a dreamer. As God was preparing me to write this book, He spoke to me through several dreams and visions.




 
I had another dream where I was going to this conference being held by one of the big time preachers. This person in their day was the premier, most successful preachers of our time. In the dream this individual was holding a conference and I was there. The conference was being held in what looked like a store front in a mall. There were maybe twenty to fifty people at max in the little store front. I remember leaning to my neighbor and saying “so and so use to sell out arenas now look”. The person had clearly lost their mantle. There was no anointing in the place. Then the dream skips to another place and the individual said to me in the dream, “it was not my fault”. I said, “your right it was not your fault but you still need to repent because God told you not to allow that person in your life and you did anyway”. Then the dream ended with an audible voice saying, “all because of a soul tie”.




 
Now I have changed some details of the dream as to not reveal the identity of the person I had the dream about. I respect leadership, authority and never make it my business to put my mouth on anyone even fallen leaders. But you get what I am trying to say.




 
God takes unholy alliances very seriously. Again I am sounding like a broken record but I must repeat myself over and over again through out this book. Soul ties cost you your destiny and purpose for being on this earth.




 
So exactly what is a soul tie? A soul tie is someone who is spiritually connected by the soul. Now that may sound holy but you don’t want a connection by the soul if your going to fulfill God’s purpose for your life you want a divine connection by the spirit of God. God operates through divine assignment. So whenever He connects anyone to your life it will always be someone who has a similar assignment. There will always be someone preordained for your life that God has for you to meet His promise. Apart of your divine assignment will always be something you could not do on your own. There will always be a part of your assignment that you can’t accomplish without help.




 
Remember the devil has a purpose and plan for your life too. The devil never wants you to fulfill God’s plan for your life! He has generational curses he wants for you. He wants to stop you in your tracks, leave you impotent and powerless. In fact, one major difference between a soul tie and a divine connection is that divine connections are meant to bring you closer to your destiny. When you meet a divine connection your prophetic baby leaps inside you and you know another part of your destiny is being awakened.




 
However the complete opposite happens when you align yourself a soul tie. You are slowly and deceptively being taken away from your destiny. The anointing that you once walked in, slowly to leaves. Your strength is gone and you don’t even know it. When a soul tie connects to your life you wake up one morning realizing that you are at a place you never wanted to be, with someone you didn’t really know and most importantly your destiny is nowhere near. Soul ties always take you away from the purpose and plan of God for your life. ALWAYS!






 
From the very beginning of time, divine connections were the means by which God intended for man to fulfill His promises on earth.


 
Genesis 1:28 (NKJV)




28. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”




 
So in the beginning one of the major assignments that God gave man was that they be fruitful and multiply. Mind you Adam could not be fruitful and multiply by himself. It is the same today there will be apart of your God given assignment that you will not be able to do on your own. So let’s look at God’s answer for Adams assignment.




 
Genesis 2:18-24 (NKJV)




18 And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” 19 Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.




21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
 
 
23 And Adam said:
“This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”




24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.




Once Eve came into Adam’s life then he was equipped to complete the assignment God had given him to do. Notice God did not give the assignment to Eve. He gave the assignment to Adam. Eve was the missing piece that would help Adam meet his goal. Therefore Eve was Adam’s help mate.




 
Notice in the scripture Adam did not go looking for Eve. Adam didn’t know He needed Eve God decided that it was time for Adam to have a divine helper. So it is today you don’t go looking for a divine connection when it is your time God connects you with the right person at the right time.




 
There is always a pattern by which God does things. Divine connections is a divine kingdom law that God uses to bring about His plans for man on earth. Again because satan is a counterfeit soul ties is always a diabolical satanic law, orchestrated by his demonic kingdom to prevent God’s people from fulfilling God’s plan for the earth from manifesting.






That’s why I don’t even like using the word soul mate, if your are single and believing God for a husband or a wife. You still don’t want a soul mate you want a divine connection that has been prepared and preordained by God Himself. So let us journey and see what God has to say about soul ties.






One of the major assignments of a soul tie is to take you away from the voice of God and have you submitting to another voice.
 
 
John 10:27 (NKJV)




27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.




Because Soul ties are meant to take you away from the voice of God they will have you question what God has told you to do. Soul ties always cause you to fall into sin and lead you away from God. Just like God’s mission from the very beginning was to bring man divine connections again it was the devils agenda to deceive man by leading them away from God’s voice.




The first thing a soul tie will do is have you to question what God said. So you make statement’s like, did God really say that? Did He really mean no? So you begin to question what you knew for sure was what God was requiring you to do.




Genesis 3:1 (NKJV)
The Temptation and Fall of Man




3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”




Soul ties lead you into immorality and lavish living. As stated soul ties look, act and speak as if they are divine connections. Remember as stated they are counterfeits just like their father satan. So yes a soul tie is a preaching prophesying, no good demon.




Soul ties wear church suits and carry bibles in their hands. Soul ties prophesy over you accurately. Remember a half truth equals a whole lie. Soul ties prophesy to you half truths. Soul ties manipulate the prophetic to having you believing something God did not say. Soul ties don’t look, sound or speak as if they are divinely assigned by the devil. In fact they speak, look and sound as if they are sent by God.






That’s why we must know the voice of God and we must walk in discernment. Soul ties are not intimidating, ugly looking creatures that make you question God. Soul ties are tongue talking, bible believing Christians that make you question God.




That is why we must not be deceived by what we see. Use discernment and DISCONNECT yourself from everyone and everything that God tells you to disconnect from. Soul ties cost you everything AND I DO MEAN EVERYTHING!




Remember a soul ties main objective is to turn you away from that which God has for your life
 
When you align yourself with a soul tie you slowly begin to compromise. The soul tie begins to actually take the place of God so you can’t serve Him whole heartedly. It is a slow moving away from God. You begin to not be as close to God as you have been in the past.




I always say when you look at your life and consider where your life took a turn for the worse it is always a direct correlation between who you came in connection with.




 
You see God has consecrated us for his purpose. No unclean thing can be in the presence of God. Notice in the scripture the bible God says that the unholy alliance would turn them away from God. Not only do soul ties turn you away from the purpose and plans that God has for you. Soul ties turn you away from God Himself.




You may say “no that can never happen!” Remember, soul ties are a slow leading away and deception from satan. Soul ties underlying motives are to replace God in your life. You can’t serve God whole heartedly with a soul tie. When you are connected to a soul tie there is always a struggle between your relationship with God and the soul tie. You can’t serve God like you use to serve God when you have a soul tie connected to your life.




After continuing to hang around a soul tie a person begins to submit themselves to the control and manipulation of that soul tie instead of God. Remember again it does not happen overnight it is a slow leading away. Soul ties are always manipulating spirits. Soul ties are often being used by familiar spirits. That’s why soul ties can preach, prophesy, speak in tongues and are still being used by the devil. Familiar spirits are spirits that are deceptive enough to look like God’s people when they are satan’s agents.




Matthew 7:6 (NKJV)




6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.




 
Remember when you hang around dirt you will get dirty. Scripture tells us don’t cast your pearls to swine. Ladies you are God’s pearls. You have no business hanging around guys who are not Christian. You have no business associating yourself with a man who doesn’t not know your value. If a man does not have a true relationship with Christ he doesn’t know your value and he doesn’t know your worth. He is simply not capable to treating you like God would have you be treated. Don’t look at the outward appearance look at the fruit. Just because someone goes to church does not mean they are saved.




Guy’s it is the same for you. Remember a demon is a demon. A woman can dress up in the right church shoes, wear the right clothes, do the church shout and still be a demon. Don’t be deceived by outward appearance. If a woman has no real relationship with God before she met you, she is not capable of being a help mate to you. She will be your worse nightmare. The last thing you need in your life is a woman whose emotions are unstable. Guys the last thing you need is to date with a Jezebel. Don’t be intimated by a woman of God.




Have you ever had knew someone who was once so spiritual? You talked about the things of God and were excited about what God was doing. It was like your spirits were connected. The next thing you know that person hooks up with somebody otherwise known as a soul tie and it appears as if they have lost their minds?




 
Soul Ties cost you everything and I do mean everything, including your prophetic destiny, your ministry, yourself, your soul and you hopes and dreams.
