Ten Ways The Kingdom Of God Is Manifested. 14 Ways The Kingdom Is Prevented From Manifesting.

We are always hearing about the kingdom of God and how God is manifesting the kingdom. We are always hearing about this prosperity gospel and how we as saints are all a part of the kingdom. A few weeks ago God gave me a revelation about what the kingdom truly is and how it is manifested. He also showed me how the kingdom of God can be prevented from manifesting. I thought I’d share. I don’t know about you but I want to be in position for the kingdom of God to manifest in my life.
 
It is true just because you are a Christian doesn’t mean you have been given access. You can have a key and not use it. You can have a key and not know how to use it. You can have a valuable treasure and not even know it’s there. The kingdom of God is like the Indiana Jones movies. It is there, we know it for a fact. But this kingdom does not come easily. We generally have to seek to understand it, to know who we are, and the power we possess. Most importantly we must know how it operates so that a spiritual abortion does not take place.
 
Remember you can be a citizen within a kingdom but still not have authority. What does that mean? Well it’s simple. Just because you are a citizen of the United States and are governed by the laws, statues and privileges of being a citizen does not mean you are a government official who has power or authority to enforce, change or implement laws. How many of us are United States citizens yet we feel powerless? It was once thought that the United States was infallible and that it was the greatest nation when it comes to power and rank. Of course we know that because of everything that is going on in America many are questioning that belief. Never the less even in the United States of America with all its citizens again there is still poverty, deficits in our economy, lack of efficient health care, significant problems in our educational system and so on. In what some consider to be the most powerful nation in the world poverty continues to run rapid. So if it is like that within the United States of America I propose to you that although you are a kingdom citizen, if you don’t know the power, authority, laws and precepts that govern this kingdom you will still be subject to the kingdom of a lessor order. You will still be subject to sickness, poverty, depression, barrenness, and the curse if you don’t understand the kingdom , understand how it works and how it is manifested.
 
Let us journey together.
 
First things first let us define what the kingdom is. Many people in the body of Christ have been hearing about the kingdom. We have been hearing teaching about the kingdom but many people simply don’t have a real clue about the kingdom and what it really is. Let us first define what the kingdom of God is and is not.
 
The kingdom of God is an entity by which God readily uses His people to begin to manifest and execute His will, dominion, power, judgment and authority to be released on earth.
 
The kingdom of God is a community of Christ citizens chosen by God to execute His divine purpose and order on earth.
 
There is a purpose plan and will for heaven but God will only use His people to execute the pattern of heaven to earth.
 
When Jesus came to earth He didn’t spend a lot of time dealing with your emotions. He didn’t spend a whole lot of time even dealing with sin. Even though He did deal with sin that was not His main objective. Jesus main objective while here on earth was to teach about the kingdom. Most of the words he spoke about were either teaching on the kingdom or using His authority from the kingdom to heal, set free and deliver. He realized that because His kingdom was greater than the earth He lived in His kingdom took precedent over the earth and it’s limitations. So when He came He set the foundation and began teaching us what the kingdom is and how it operates. He lets us know that the limitations of this earth are not the same limitations of the kingdom. As Jesus left this earth He declared, “greater works shall you do”. You see our great teacher set the foundation. Foundation is always the beginning or the order. After the foundation is set then you can begin to build the structure. If there is no foundation there is no structure. So Jesus said I set the foundation now build. It’s like in college you can’t take an advance course in any given subject if you have not learned the basic 101’s of any subject you are trying to learn. You know when you’re trying to register in a class most of the advance courses they won’t even let you sign up for until it is documented that you took the prerequisites.
 
So it is with Jesus He set the foundation by teaching us the course entitled Introduction to The Kingdom 101. The apostle Paul and others came along and taught the next course entitled Kingdom 102 and countless others have come along to teach us other courses such as Kingdom Business, Kingdom Prosperity, Kingdom Finances the Principles of Sewing and Reaping and so on. Sadly many Christians have never matriculated past the Intro to the Kingdom course. They had been sitting in the same classroom for twenty years. I am declaring this is the year 2011 and it is time to move forward.
 
So again Jesus main objective was to teach us the basics of the kingdom.
 
We know this because when Jesus came He spoke to the people in parables.
 
 
Matthew 13:10-12
10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
 
So Jesus started explaining the kingdom in a way they could understand. He told them parables or stories that illustrated the kingdom. Think about when you were a child and you first started learning to read. You looked at color pictures and books with childlike figures so that you could understand the words and then form sentences. No child who begins to learn to read starts reading novels no matter how much of a quick learner they were. You took baby steps then you moved forward. Jesus was saying I illustrate to them stories and mental pictures because they can’t understand the mysteries yet. Again He was the great professor. They were learning the concepts. They did not execute what they learned yet He was simply in a teach mode, they were the students. Like in any college or university today. You sit listen to lectures but most people don’t begin to execute what they learned until they are close to graduation or have graduated. That is when you implement what you have learned. Jesus went further to say, “But you have been chosen to understand the mysteries.” Children can’t understand mysteries.
 
A baby can’t eat meat and potatoes whole. They are babies, they can’t swallow it. So they have to eat baby food that has been mashed and processed down. So it is with baby Christians they can’t really understand the meat of the word. So it has to be mashed down and processed so they can swallow it. However it is a sad thing to be a full grown individual still eating mashed down and processed foods. I don’t know about you but baby food doesn’t appeal to me as an adult. So why should spiritual baby food appeal to me? It is growing up time.
 
We are putting the children to bed. Its grown folks turn now. You know when you were a kid and your parents friends came over. There were some things that grown folks could only talk about amongst themselves and not in the presence of children. Children can’t keep still, they need some color, some form of stimulation. That’s why a graduate school classroom looks very different that a kindergarten classroom. I believe that spiritually speaking it is time to put the children to bed. It is now time for the kingdom of God to manifest. God is now getting ready to reveal His sons. Sons is not gender specific it simply means kingdom citizens who are in position to begin to execute His will, ways, judgment and power in this earth.
 
God can’t release His kingdom to children.
 
Galatians 4:1-3 (NKJV)
1 Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all,
2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world.
 
No matter what kind of promise you have. No matter who prophesies over you if you don’t grow up and mature you WILL NOT manifest the kingdom.
 
Everything that God will ever do He will do through His mature sons (adults not gender specific) and through His kingdom. God will not execute His kingdom absent from His people.
 
Remember the kingdom of God is not God Himself, it is where He dwells. If my home address is 123 somewhere street, that is where I live not who I am. The kingdom of Heaven is where He lives it is not Him. His kingdom must manifest on earth and there He will be in the mist.
 
It is very important to understand that there is the kingdom and there are the characteristics or the blessing related to being a kingdom citizen. Prosperity, houses, cars, money are not the kingdom. Once you are a successful kingdom citizen God will release these things to you but they are not in and of themselves the kingdom. The kingdom is not your ability to receive the blessing but to be a blessing, to change nations and generations for His kingdom. God does not wish to release the blessing to you He wants to release you to be a blessing. Read Deuteronomy 28, the whole thing.
 
So the first and most profound question is: How is the kingdom of God manifested?
 
Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
 
The kingdom of God must be sought. The first thing to understand is you can’t truly seek the kingdom of God without seeking the king. You can’t seek the king without having a heart for the king. You can’t have a heart for the king if you are living in sin and disobedience. So we must seek the king with a pure heart. This is why God sends the test to purify our motives. We must seek to touch His heart, to feel what He feels, to love what He loves. If you have His hand you can have what’s in His heart. We have become a people who shout more over what God is getting ready to give to us more so than what we give up for Him.
 
It is not until God can trust you will He release His kingdom to you. I have said it before that you can be a kingdom citizen and not have authority, dominion and power within that kingdom. The blessing associated with being a part of the kingdom will only manifest when you are obedient. I hate to say it but blessing and cursing are a part of the kingdom. Most people want the blessing no one wants the curse. If you are a citizen of the kingdom and you break kingdom protocol, laws and rebel against this kingdom. The king then releases you to the curse. Just like in the United States when you disobey the law you suffer the consequence so it is with the kingdom. You don’t stop being a kingdom citizen but you do suffer the consequence of disobedience. That’s why I said read the whole chapter of Deuteronomy 28. Saints have selective hearing now a days we like to selectively pick and choose what we want to receive in the bible but the truth of the matter is you are what you do.
 
I could talk on and on about the principles of the kingdom but that would talk that would take forever. I simply wish set the foundation on how the kingdom is manifested and prevented from manifesting. Briefly some attributes of the kingdom is authority to disallow, disarm, and annihilate the principles and plans of the enemy. It is the ability to execute and release the judgment of God on the earth. It is the ability to use your mouth to speak healing, wholeness and prosperity to a dyeing world.
 
Principles or attributes of the kingdom again these are not in itself the kingdom but characteristics of the kingdom:
 
The headship anointing. Simply means you are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. This is where God sets you high and above the nations of the earth. (Deuteronomy 28:1) It simply means you are in a place of authority.
 
You don’t run after the blessing the blessing runs after you. (Deuteronomy 28:2)
Your ability to prosper. (Deuteronomy 28:3,4)
Your ability execute spiritual authority over the enemy.
Your ability to create and have wealth.
 
The most important principle to be a part of the kingdom is your ability to execute God’s judgment on the earth. I am not referring to condemnation or to put someone in hell. Most people think of judgment as a bad thing. It simply means to know and understand the mind of God and to execute His dominion, power and authority on the earth that He has given us. If you don’t like what’s going on in your world, in your city or in your neighborhood don’t allow it. When you have God’s authority, you don’t allow what He allows and you release His authority. Again I am not talking about Fox news, picketing and arguing over Christian values to a sin filled world. I am talking about spiritual authority.
 
Matthew 16:19 (NKJV)
19. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed[a] in heaven.”


Ten Ways That The Kingdom Is Manifested:


1. By the Holy Spirit. The kingdom of God will not manifest absent of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:7,)
2. By seeking the kingdom. (Matthew 6:33)
3. By obedience. You will never manifest the kingdom of God in disobedience. Be obedient to the process. There are no short cuts to the kingdom. (Deuteronomy 28)
4. Perseverance- The spirit of a finisher says I will not give up. (Matthew 5:3,4 Romans 8:18-30, 11 Corinthians 12:10)
5. The appointed time. God has a set time or appointed time for when He will release the mantle. You can’t make it happen or force it. You can miss it if you’re not ready when He shows up. (Acts 1:8, Matthew 25:1-13)
6. Spiritual maturity-Galatians 4:1-3
7. Having a right relationship with God. Can God trust you?
8. Spending time in preparation. Studying His word, reading, praying and fasting. (Mark 9:29)
9. Confidence
10. Order, structure and unity within the body of Christ. The Apostle Paul set order and structure which is how the kingdom church began to really manifest and grow. (I Corinthians 12:12-31, I Corinthians 14, I Corinthians 11, I Corinthians 7, Ephesians 4:11-16) A important point to make is that the kingdom will not manifest without apostolic alignment. (which has nothing to do with the apostolic church which is more like a domination) You cannot grow or mature into the things of God absent from an apostolic father.
 
Fourteen Things That Prevent The Kingdom From Manifesting:
1. Sin
2. Disobedience
3. Fear
4. Moving ahead of God’s Timing (the same as disobedience)
5. Moving out of His will
6. Impure Motives
7. Spiritual Immaturity
8. Not praying, fasting or reading the word.
9. Not having a consecrated life.
10. Not enduring the process.
11. Soul Ties
12. Emotional Instability (mental illness, jealousy, envy, double mindedness)
13. Confusion
14. Pride, lack of humility (Proverbs 16:5)
 
The kingdom of God will also begin to manifest again by way of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will hover over you and begin to release to you kingdom ideas, creativity and by divine connections.
 
There is so much more to say about this topic but I will end it here. The rest will be for another day. Remember most of all the kingdom of God dwells on the inside. It is invisible, but it is only the hand of God that will make the invisible visible and the unseen seen.
 
Let us pursue above all righteousness.
